The triage nurse were not the best at allBut the birthing nurses were definitely amazing I would recommend
Pretty bad. The staffing shortage at Providence has made things pretty grim here -- the nurses are very good (but short staffed). Time with doctors is very limited. Facilities/equipment were really bad. Our room had a broken AC unit, broken phone, and nurses couldn't get the remote fetal monitors to work. Providence claims to support things like birth bars and water therapy, but they actually didn't. Meals for support persons would be randomly denied. Nurses couldn't get the nitrous oxide system to work. Tablet that they provide for entertainment didn't work. Labs took forever to run. Electronic health record system went down while we there causing an extra day of stay. BP, IV, and fetal alarms would commonly go off and nobody would respond without active intervention. Wife's incision became infected a few days after surgery. There seemed to be a major disconnect between the fetal monitoring services and the Everett Clinic OB office that led to a pretty bad delivery experience. Would recommend looking at other clinics.
Best OB/GYN I've ever been to! I was very nervous for my procedure and had a recent terrible experience that made me extra nervous. I believe I saw Dr. Mariko(?), who was absolutely amazing and I would recommend to anyone. She was helpful with every single concern I had, gentle and caring. I will absolutely be returning, and wish I could use her for every medical concern!
Had the most positive experience from pregnancy to labor. I had Dr. Lane who knew me without even looking at my chart. She was able to explain everything to me in a way that I understood if something came up. Luckily, I also had Dr. Lane as my doctor who delivered my baby. I was induced and the staff was ON TOP OF IT. They watched my baby's monitor like a hawk. The slightest blip and they were inside my room stealthy to take care of him and myself. I really felt like I was treated like royalty. They really took care of me and ensured i was comfortable at all times no matter what the request was. Honestly, really bummed I only stayed 24 hours after delivery. I was transferred to another room post delivery and the nursing staff still remained to exceed my standards. As soon as lactation was available, they came to the rescue. They reassured my feelings, my worries, everything. Couldn't have had a successful birth without them.
Dr. Mariko is the best and the nurse Kayleigh. They both made me feel super comfortable which helped alot because i was really nervous. Also Dr. John Jordan and Dr. Stephen Sharmad are awesome but they both no longer work there from what i heard today but Dr. Jordan was my obstetrician in 2011 for my pregnancy with My Son and Dr. Sharmad was the Dr. On call who ended up delivering My Son via Emergency C-Section!!!!!!!!!
If you are a father who is actually supporting their loved one through their pregnancy and you would like to be with them during their appointments DO NOT UTILIZE THIS CLINICS SERVICES. I get the covid pandemic and procedure but that should not bar fathers from being their during an appointment, especially a first ultra sound! This will be my first child and I cannot express the ammount of anger I am feeling. I reside toward Silverdale Washington where we have the Harrison medical center. I've had to take her there a few times and I was allowed in with a normal screening like everyone else. I wear a mask, I monitor my health and I follow all the procedures. Why are people like me barred from supporting our loved ones? Am I going to be able to be there for the birth of my first child? Let alone hold them for the first time? I think I know the answer to that question. We will not use this medical center any further, in fact if my fiancé and I hadn't already waited almost 2 months for our first appointment we would have just left. With that being said I will always put her health ahead of my own emotions. What I would like you to take from this is if you want to have your special moments, and be there for your loved ones do not use this clinic. They say on their website and over the phone that they let visitors in with a "simple screening" but it is a lie. They deny everyone at the door except the patient. There are other alternatives nearby that are just as great, more friendly and a lot more family oriented. Thank you for contributing to a fatherless society Everett Clinic! :)
The NICU has been amazing. All the nurses and staff have been extremely caring and friendly. I hope your newborn doesn't need to be in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, but if they do, your little one will receive great care and attention here. Our newborn was transfered here and needed help breathing. We have been here for 4 days and he is much better now. Hopefully we will be discharged tomorrow. The Nurses have been truly amazing and you can tell that they really care. My only complaint is with the Parking Garage at the hospital. Multiple people have had their car broken into in the last few nights. If you park here take EVERYTHING out of your vehicle including car seats. My car has been safe since there is Nothing inside it not even a cell phone charger.
The nurses and doctors at this facility are great. They have been very understanding and accomdating to my pregnant wife whom native language is not English. This review is not about them. This review is in regards to the incompetency of the secretaries, administration staff and whom ever created these Cov19 restrictions in regards to Husband's involvement throughout the pregnancy. @JT another commentator with a negative review hit the nail on the head with his post and I recommend reading that one as well. I was not allowed to come in for the first couple of months with my wife while she had monthly check ups in regards to the pregnancy. I could understand be this with Cov19 being relatively (summer time). I was then denied access for the first ultrasound, a very important moment for a first time father. I was then denied access for several more weeks until approximately the last two months of the pregnancy. I didn't know any better as I was a first time father or I would have quickly jumped ship to another Hospital as I figured the same protocol was in effect for other hospitals (Hey father's, it's not. Take your business else where). So now that I'm allowed access to the visits I've been provided specific dates on when I am allowed to visit assuming I'm not infected or having been infected with Cov19 (understandable). I am told by the bottom receptionist that all is cleared and that I'm allowed to go up with my wife. At the next receptionist I am then denied access as visitors aren't allowed, even though the doctor had authorized the visit before hand. I begin to explain this to the receptionist and am met with a snarky, rude response that I'm not allow an am to leave. I have no desire to cause a scene so I leave. My wife attempts to have a conversation with the secretary in her broken english and the secretary refuses to leave her seat to verify with the doctor, instead just verbally denying my wife. During the appointment the midwife apologies to my wife but I'm not requested to come in ( a mix up? I'm not sure). Supposedly I'm now allowed for the few remaining visits up until the delivery date. How difficult was it for the bottom secretary to call the top floor secretary and have a conversation for the day on which visitors were and were not allowed in for the day. Also why are you denying significant others from coming in with their wife's. Reality check, we live with our wife's so their exposure is just as great as the husband's. I'm not a Cov19 denier, anti-maskers or whatever else issues there are. Just have the secretaries be competent and allow the equally exposed father's enter the hospital with their wife's for support / bonding.
This review would be 5 stars if not for the care of one doctor in particular. Cant remember her name but she is a middle aged white woman (40 to 50 yo, blondish) who was the attending on call. She made a very racially insenstive comment. Im a married woman and she expressed shock that I was even married and did not show any respect until she found out my occupation. If you are a white woman Im sure you will get good care from her but anynother minority I would be weary. It is a shame because I did visit other doctors in the clinic and they were amazing and I never felt discriminated against, same with the nurses...but I dont feel comfortable possibly having her present for my delivery. Again, all the other doctors and staff were great but no way will I go there again.
This place is the worst place you could go. I highly recommend a different hospital. They have the worst patient relations you can possibly imagine. Stay away!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
