List of Prakash Thapaliya's Reviews
I was one of Dr Thapaliya’s first patients, May 2016. I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma & Myelodysplastic Syndrome. My diagnosis was devastating once I understood what I was facing. Dr Thapaliya was kind caring & knowledgeable. His calm demeanor helped me through the rough time of seeing my future. Since my insurance was not signed with SCCA locally, I went to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix Arizona. I had excellent care with a Bone Marrow Transplant. I had thought I would return to Dr Thapaliya after treatment, it didn’t happen. I was pretty ill, then Covid 19. My son moved to San Diego with his career & my daughter was living in the LA area. I choose to stayed in Phoenix to be near my adult children & Mayo Clinic Hospital. I have never return to the PNW. Dr Thapaliya is a wonderful doctor. I couldn’t have been luckier to be his patient. He was the best doctor to have with a complex cancer diagnosis. The next was retired Dr Slack at Mayo, now Dr Palmer. I’ve been very fortunate.
Extensive review of blood cells and bone was the only information provided by Dr “T” He was no help whatsoever. He was focused on leaving on an international trip. No coordinated handoff was followed up on by staff and emergency hospitalization was a fiasco. Husband was dead 6 weeks later. Hospice was Superior, supporting us on all of the missing elements. Thank God for Hospice.
Getting a diagnosis of cancer starts you on a long and scary journey. My family is very grateful that we had Dr. Thapaliya to guide us after my dad's diagnosis of lung cancer. Dr. Thapaliya took the time to answer questions and address our concerns. He is kind and honest, which must be a difficult combination for an oncologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
