Dr Schaaf is one of the best, professional caring human being I ever met. I was one of his patient who didn't have hope of my complicated situation but he promised me that I will be just fine and I did after my surgery , I heel just like he predicted. I will definitely keep referring him to the world. We are just lucky to have him at Everett Clinic.

This doctor is very personable and warm, offers the patient a lot of information and discusses procedures thoroughly. I highly recommend this doctor.

Doctor Schaaf has repaired the rotator cuff in both shoulders over the past few years with great success. He has just done a total knee replacement of my left knee six days ago. I have very little pain and can walk with a cane already, although I still have a lot of healing to go thru. I am looking forward to having Doctor Shaaf do a total knee replacement on my right knee in the near future. I consider him a great surgeon and he has a great medical staff at the Everett Clinic and Providence Hospital to back him up.

Won't be back. May be the greatest surgeon in the world but without respect and maturity, I feel that leaves a lot to be desired. I don't base my review on bedside manner alone, but this doctor was not someone I felt comfortable with or respected by. We're both humans and I felt as though he couldn't even hear me way up there on his high horse.

I was very displeased with the advice and after months of tests, appt was referred to another surgeon for the surgery.

Dr Scott Schaaf rebuilt my crushed elbow 17 years ago with bone fragments & screws nuts. He worked a miracle for me. I have great mobility & I have full use of my arm. Then in 2013 he did surgery on my knee from a car accident. He did the same excellent job. I will be forever grateful. He's the very best.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Schaaf D.O. and he made me feel so much better about my future Knee Replacement. Right on point very knowledgeable and I'm very Glad to Have been recommended to him. 🎃

Dr Shaff was awesome! He is engaged with patients needs and has great bedside manner. He was quickly was able to identify and solve ongoing knee pain from Meniscus tears. Thank you!!

Dr. Schaaf is dishonest and a bad Dr. He misdiagnosed my injury. He then made a poor decision in surgery. I had an Essex-leprosti injury but he did not even look at my wrist. He only treated the elbow with orif. With the amount of damage to elbow and soft tissue it should have been a radial replacement. The orif failed but he did not catch the non union until after removing hardware from orif. He left a single screw in the unhealed fragment but when asked why he left a screw behind he lied. He did two surgeries, had two missed diagnosis, and lied. His mistakes cost me virtually all function in what was my dominant arm.

Dr Schaaf is the worst Dr. I have ever met. He misdiagnosed my injury as just a radial head fracture instead of a compete forearm injury. He never treated the damaged wrist. He elected for an ORIF of radial head when the amount of bone and tissue damage indicated a radial replacement. He then missed a non union of the major fragment in the elbow prior to removing the hardware from the ORIF. He left a single screw holding the fragment but lied to me directly about the nonunion and remaining screw. After two surgeries with him my wrist still had not been diagnosed, by elbow was still broken, and he lied. By the time I got to a Dr. that knew what to do the damage was done. I will never be able to lift more than 20 lbs with what was my dominate arm an will have reduced motion and pain for the rest of my life.
