Sima G Mistry's Online Review Report Card

This Dr is out of her mind. She's so clinical, she didn't actually look at the patient (my athlete 13 yr old son). All she did was look at numbers on her paper without actually looking at my in perfect health son. She berated me on my son being "near obese". Any person could look at this child and see there is nothing about him that is obese. She wouldn't actually look at him. She just stared at her screen. I would not recommend this Dr to any parent.

While Dr Minstry is thorough with patient care she has the worst bedside manner, is RUDE to parents, and fat shamed our athlete son because he'd gained some weight in a years time during covid. I would NEVER EVER recommend Sima to any parent. All her intended good medicine is overwhelmingly buried by her ridiculous inability to stop being an elitist who knows better.

It has taken me about a year to decide to make this review. I am a first-time mom. I brought my baby in for his 48 hour old checkup with Dr. Mistry. She was the most awful human being I have ever dealt with. As she was examining my beautiful, sweet newborn son, all she could do was scold him not to pee on her (he didn't). It was the most horrific, awkward thing ever. My mother, who was with us at the time, attempted to break the awkwardness up by saying something along the lines of "isn't he beautiful?" to which Dr. Mistry legit ignored her. Dr. Mistry then proceeded to do everything she possibly could to make us feel like absolutely inadequate parents; she made a huge deal out of our son's NORMAL newborn weight loss, berated my partner for the fact that he hadn't set up his voicemail box on his phone, and overall treated us like she thought we were morons. It's bad enough to be emotionally exhausted, sleep deprived, and already feeling vulnerable/scared, but having a pediatrician treat you and your newborn baby like that is beyond inappropriate

Please don't tell her your depressed.She My put you away for a long time.Also dont even think about having anxiety.Im going though menopause and never had anxiety in my life till now.But a doctor who looks 12 would not understand the change.The hot flashest and weight gain.Will never go back to see her.And there so much more i could go on and on.But dont want her to know who i am.Take it from me see another doctor.

I went to see Dr. Mistry after moving to another town and being too far away to see my previous doctor through Providence. I have had horrible headaches since I was 8 years old, and lately they have been so bad they are disrupting my life. Dr. Mistry seemed that she couldn't care less, asked me a bunch of unrelated questions. I told her the two medications that helped with these, which was tramadol and flexirl, both uncontrolled meds. She said she would not perscribe the tramadol, but would do a few flexirl. I felt so empty when I left. I felt that she completely did not care to do anything to help me. What a waste of time. So a few days later I called the clinic because ahe had not sent in the flexeril rx like she said she would. And she had a nurse call me back saying "she sai she told you during your visit she would not be prescribing flexeril" that made me feel so awful. I don't know what miscommunication there was there, but she 100% for sure said she would, and ultimately didn't
