He came in the room and proceeded to ramble twice as much as needed with half the information, including discussing and naming things I then suspected and later found out were irrelevant. He completed passed the buck down the line by not properly fully diagnosing me despite it staring him in the face. He literally started typing up my exit diagnosis paper before he even looked at the multiple areas of concern. He made up his mind before he walked in the room. And he was wrong. The doctor at the ER and specialist I saw <48 hours later both pointed out and condemned his failure... Seemed like a nice enough guy who is smart.

I was referred to Dr. Taylor by a close former colleague of his that I trusted and always treated me with respect. I was referred to Dr. Taylor by a close former colleague of his that I trusted and always treated me with respect. I had developed a painful condition in my hands that made it impossible for me to work and I was trying to get help and a diagnosis. I was excited to see Dr. Taylor because he charges a fee to fill out L&I paperwork. I was so glad to see someone that was serious and valued their time. I expected to be treated fairly and for him to be thorough. Due to the nature of my pain in my hands, I could only type of handwrite a very small amount and was not able to use a keyboard or a mouse much at all. Consequently, I had to have my family help me fill out the substantial amount of paperwork he required. It was hard for my family to find the time to help me but it was important to my health. It took hours over several days, but once again I was glad he would be thorough based on all this. I had to provide him his extensive packet as well as several other medical documents. These included a list of doctors and medications plus permissions to access my medical records. I went to my appointment where the front desk staff member and Medical Assistant were especially friendly, professional and helpful. I then waited in his office for 45 minutes. I assumed he was looking over the mound of paperwork I had provided and preparing to help me. When Dr. Taylor entered the exam room, my trip into the Twilight Zone began. I answered his question about how my issues began. I explained how my symptoms began and that the onset was when I had a new work-station with poor ergonomics. I told him that I didn’t know if this was the cause but was answering the question he asked me. He told me that he typed on his keyboard and didn’t have good ergonomics and he was fine. Umm, excuse me? Him typing here and there infrequently was not the same as my heavy keyboard use job. Besides, he’s the doctor, how should I know why he didn’t have pain and I did? He then looked over my currently prescribed medications and saw that I was taking Adderall. He questioned why (I answered him it even though it had nothing to do with my hand pain and loss of function) and he was very condescending and rude. He then questioned why I was taking the other meds I was on for depression, all with the connotation that I was unreliable I guess? I have no idea, but he was obviously judging me. I told him he was welcome to call my prescriber if he had any questions. I might as well of told him that I was scoring meth on the street the way he behaved towards me. I should point out that I never asked him for any medications nor was I taking any prescription pain medication. This man literally chuckled and left the room. He never came back. After about 10 or 15 minutes I stepped out of the room to try to find someone and ask what was going on. After I called out “Hello?,” he came out and told me the appointment was over. I was so confused and upset. I wanted to cry but kept my composure and left. Later I was shocked that he even billed my insurance for the appointment, I wasn’t even sure this counted as an appointment as he was so dismissive, he treated me like I was so far beneath him that I wasn’t deserving of any explanation or respect. I did not dispute the claim and paid my portion of the bill. Later, after seeing other doctors, I was diagnosed with Repetitive Stress Injury and Ehlers Danlos by more than one doctor. I was approved for Long Term Disability insurance. I say all this because when ones shares such an outrageous sounding story about a doctor, one feels the need to defend and justify oneself. It took me a couple years to write this but I could not stop thinking about it and I feel that if I kept this experience to myself, it would be a disservice to another vulnerable person that comes to him for help.

I was very comfortable with him and trusted him completely. He was very understanding of some of my quirks and fears.

Dr. Taylor not only appeared to review my records carefully, but he also appeared to listen to what I was trying to tell him. I couldn't have asked for more -- since a magic curative wand is not currently available.

Dr. Taylor & staff are not easily distinguishable from other patients; dress code is extremely relaxed and unprofessional for a doctor’s office (tee shirts, jeans, open toed sandals, capri pants, visible tattoos, no tie or suit.) I checked in on time for my 8:30am appointment and waited 28 minutes in the exam room. Dr. Taylor was very unsympathetic to my complaints of lingering neck and back pain because no serious condition could be found (hernia, spinal/carpal nerve damage) Dr. Taylor had no other treatment recommendations for me although I was willing to seek conventional or alternative treatment with or without worker’s compensation reimbursement. Dr. Taylor said he would return me to full time unrestricted duty against recommendations from my previous doctor and chiropractic care giver. If you have a condition or lingering symptoms that doesn’t require surgery, I would seek treatment from a physician that thinks outside of the “it’s not a problem if you don’t need surgery” box.

The main problem with this physician is that he dictates your case while you wait with him both during and after your appointment. This is the most annoying experience I have ever had with a physician. I have a busy schedule and I don't want to sit in a doctors office while he dictates my case right in front of me. This is very unprofessional and disrespectful!

Dr. Taylor is an exceptionally caring physician who spends the needed with his patients.
