Steven Cohen's Online Review Report Card

On my first visit to Dr. Cohen, he listened closely and quickly grasped everything I told him about the last 3 years of my personal health issues. He looked directly at me and explained what he saw that he could do to help me and then gave me the option of choosing to work with him. I was so happy to find a local naturopathic doctor- who is skilled in the areas I need help with, including providing acupuncture and chiropractic relief on the visit. I was impressed because it exceeds any help I have had elsewhere and I look forward to addressing my health concerns with an empathetic and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get to the root of health issues in a caring environment instead of just treating the symptoms.

Dr. Cohen is the worst doctor!!! He did a simple procedure and I had to have 4 surgeries to correct his mistake. When I contacted him he never would help me at all. He is a salesman, painter, not a plastic surgeon.

Dr. Cohen is always ready to treat me when I come in for various things. He is super upbeat and moves quickly when I’m being treated. It’s pricey, but worth it. He always asks me if I feel better as soon as he’s done and if I don’t, he will continue to adjust to make sure I get the comfort I need.

Dr. Cohen is the first doctor that I've found that actually wants to get to the root of my digestive health issues instead of just treating the symptoms. He's expensive but worth it

If I could rate him at a 0 I would. He was so abrasive and outright rude to not only me but to my child. She was seen for strep throat (something she gets a few times a year) as I tried to explain she gets it all the time, here are her symptoms they present the same each time. He appeared offended that I already knew what it was. He swabbed her a second time which was not necessary as the nurse had already done it and he did it so harshly it caused my daughter pain, he spoke down to her like a child is suppose to be ok with having a stick shoved at the back of their throat. She left there in tears. He would not treat her, and said it wasn't strep. Well when her fever wouldn't subside for days I took her to our regular doctor on the weekday and guess what, it was strep. Dr. Cohen never sent the results to me of her swab (I'm guessing never even sent the test in) and billed me anyways. He has no business treating children let alone medicine at all.

Three days after being released from the hospital after having surgery, I developed a very painful ear/throat infection. Since it was the Memorial day holiday the only medical facility open besides the emergency room was our local Urgent Care facility. After explaining my symptoms and receiving a quick exam I was told he couldn't "see" any issues and informed me I didn't have strep throat. I told him there was something going on. In an irritated tone, he asked me if I wanted him to do a throat culture for strep. I told him I didn't think that was necessary as I'm sure it wasn't strep. After paying for the exam, I was sent out the door with nothing resolved. Fortunately I was able to get in to see a "real" physician within 42 hours and was immediately prescribed a Z-Pack because the Dr felt I had a throat infection, which was also causing the ear pain, that you couldn't simply "see." Within 18 hours of taking the medication there was a significant amount of relief. If I find it necessary to go to an Urgent Care facility in the future, I will avoid going to one where this physician is on duty.

Dr. Cohen and his staff are wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable and treats the whole person without the use of toxic medications and invasive procedures. I am being treated for a torn meniscus and plantar fasciitis and have gotten so much relief. I am also working on weight loss and detox. Highly recommend!

I have only felt impelled to do a review maybe twice before but I feel so strongly about how Dr. Cohen is helping me get my life back that I just must do one for him. I started treatment with Dr. Cohen a mere 7 days ago and I have seen amazing results in my overall health! I could give a list of changes but detailing my conditions and my results would be the beginnings of a book. Let me just say I was desperate. Every system is compromised and yet I already see that I WILL be healthy once again!

I had suffered with daily headaches for 4 years when I first came to see Dr. Cohen. I was looking for acupuncture to see if that could provide relief. Instead of just draining it as a temporary fix for an ongoing problem he tried to contact a doctor and tools to attempt a permanent solution. I was veryimpressed. His concern for my long term comfort was obvious. He utilized as many resources he could. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the procedure. His nurse held my hand and empathized with me. The care they took to make sure everything was sterile was incredible. If it were an option I would use him as my everything doctor. I highly recommend him for any medical complication you might have.
