List of Todd Havener's Reviews
Dr Havener is just the BEST. Personal and professional, he did my hand surgery (finally, after we'd exhausted all other options over the years). Love that he doesn't immediately want to just do surgery, but is able to give the options and realistic expectations too. Do yourself a favor, see him for any upper extremity problem! If I could give 6 stars I would! 🌟
From my very first appointment to now I have had the best experience. I broke my wrist and they worked with me to get me into the office asap. Everyone was super nice and caring. Dr. Havener was ever so kind and listened carefully to my concerns. He truly cares for his patient’s needs. The surgery was quick and I had minimal pain and swelling. I would highly recommend Dr. Havener for wrist surgery. He is the best!!!!!
I’ve had multiple surgeries on both hands and I won’t let anyone else but Dr Havener touch my hands. He’s remarkable!
Dr. Havener surgically repaired my torn biceps tendon. He is one of the most knowledgeable, experienced, and straightforward professionals I've ever dealt with. His recovery and rehab methods had me back to work within a week, and near full mobility in one month. Although I was prescribed pain medication after the surgery, my discomfort was so mild I did not need it. I had full and complete use of my arm in about two months (especially wonderful since I work in commercial construction). Thank you Dr. Havener!
The surgery was very quick and rather simple overall. The total time in the operating room was about 15-20 minutes. My numbness and tingling has subsided. The reason for the low score: not very personable doctor, he did not recommend PT/OT follow-up for hand exercises, he seemed rushed and did not have time to sit and talk for a few minutes at my follow-up appointment. Please consider taking a few more minutes to build a rapport with your patient, ask them a few questions about their goals and ideas of how they think the surgery will go. PT/OT should be offered after surgery, even if it is only one or two sessions. A paper hand-out on exercises they should perform is not very beneficial. The staff were friendly (front desk and nurses).
Dr. Havener is a amazing orthopedic surgeon. I had an extremely complex and intense injury. Recovery was a very long process. Dr. Havener never gave up, even when I was ready to throw in the towel. Many times I was certain that I would not regain much use of my wrist, he continuously reassured me and pressed on. I am now back to full duty at a very physically demanding job. In the future, any orthopedic needs, for myself or my family, will be addressed by Dr. Havener.
Easy to talk to and a great surgeon. I'd recommend him for any of my friends or family!
Dr.Havener is an interesting man. He fixed my broken thumb-- and then some. He spoke to me like a grownup, and helped me in my time of need. The x-ray didn't even hurt!! Thanks so much, and best of luck.
I have come to Dr. Havener multiple times throughout the years with varying injuries. Always quick to diagnose and treat and send me on the road to recovery.
Great surgeon, confident, knew what he was talking about. Would recommend to any of my family members and friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
