I recenly had to deal with Dr. McGoodwin regarding my mther who is 89 and in the hospital, waiting for a transfer to a skilled nursing facility. She cannot feed hersef, take care of her own bathroom needs and can barely sit propped in a chair. The hospital uses a celing lift to get her out of bed and Dr. McGoodwin called to tell me that they were discharging her to the first adult home that was willing to take her. She was cold and very condescending. I cannot imagine being a patien of hers. She told me that is her only option. She laughed at me when I suggested something like I didn't know what I was talking about. This is such a difficult time in the life of family and she had no compssion or understanding. I wouldn't take my dog to her.
