After waiting 18 months for appointment, Dr. Tavakkol really impressed me, especially since I previously had unusual pigmentation on my right shin area THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MONITORED. I got caught between Covid, previous dermatologist's retirement and the long waits I am subject to with corporate managed medicine. Dr. Tavakkol immediately picked up a melanoma which required a large skin graft from my upper arm and rather painful long recovery. She referred me to an excellent plastic surgeon, Dr. David Kawamura who restored my faith in Everett Clinic by treating me immediately and personally. I commend Dr. Tavakkol for picking up this melanoma still in situ. Hindsight is great as I browse through photos the last two years, I can plainly see the changes. Unfortunately, this strange and sudden appearing change in pigmentation should have been more closely monitored. I do take some blame as from now on, I WILL BE PROACTIVE as I knew this was unusual. Five starts for Dr. Tavakkol.

Amazing Dr. and listens to your concerns. If you want something removed and checked out she will do what you ask. Finding a doctor that listens and does what you ask is hard to find and she does just that.
