I give Dr Nicholson 5 stars! He is a wonderful doctor in every way.....good explanations, a calm steady voice, taking the time necessary to be sure he's understood, and an extremely capable surgeon. He did cataract surgery on both my husband and myself, and we are both very happy with the results and with Dr Nicholson.

Dr. Nicholson is a very caring Ophthalmologist. He takes the time to explain every step that needs to be taken. I was very impressed that he took the time to check up on me latter in the day after my surgery to make sure I was doing well. I have had cataracts in both eyes removed & am very pleased with the results.

After two cataract procedures, I am left with vision that cannot tolerate bright light, has constant halos, and eyes that water incessantly. I believe it is being caused by Negative dysphotopsia. When I returned to Dr. Nicholson, he examined my eyes and said the lens he replaced looks fine. I asked him what was causing my vision problem and he just shrugged his shoulders and said if it continues I should go see a retina specialist. Dr. Nicholson is supposedly an ophthalmologist and he never once mentioned the possibility of negative dysphotopsia. He seemed more interested in selling his services than correcting my vision problem.

He is amazing, his bedside manner, caring and calls you after his surgery. He makes you feel so comfortable and is just the Best. The staff at the Federal Way clinic are also amazing, they are so frienly and do their best to help you. Recommend them they are a 10, you won't be sorry selecting them

Ok, I was nervous. My eyes are so sensitive I could not wear cantact lenses. My experience was so stressless, it could not have been any easier. I felt nothing. My left eye was the worst and the first one operated on. They used the laser to correct my astigmatism. The replaced my lense. The experience started at 8:30am, I walked out at 9:30. My wife drove me too and from the office. Two weeks later they did the right eye. It is clear 2 days after.

I was apprehensive about the surgery but Dr Nicholson did such a wonderful job of informing me and making me feel comfortable. He did a fantastic operation and I am so happy that I was able to have this done. I can see so clearly and would recommend this to anyone not to hesitate.
