Megan Murray is very rude, lacks knowledge, and definitely not understanding. She believes my toddler is underweight because she is small and short like Mother and Father. My daughter is very well cared for and spoiled with love. This Dr had the audacity to calls cps on us because we chose not to see her again after only 2 Dr visits. We were new patients, new to the area. She kept scheduling us appointments we didn't ask for. She is not recommended. You caused trauma to my wife.
if you are expecting an explanation when things go wrong don't expect one here.
Doctors are good but good luck trying to get ahold of them on the phone
Great doctors but the the hold time to contact the front desk via phone is insane. Will wait so long the call line hangs up.
Nothing like being told to wear a mask that's been sitting in the Dr's office un sanitized and single layered when I walked in I had a 2 layer fabric mask feels like they were intentionally trying to give me the virus sux to be you
My primary care doctor is Dr. Lewis, but I talked with Dr. Snyder who was on call. He was very nice, informative and understanding.
My wife took our kid to an appointment and was told we would get a discount if we paid the same day of service. After the lady at the billing counter was super rude to my wife and basically told her we couldn't afford to pay because my wife forgot her card I tried to call and make the payment. I called for two hours while at work and nobody answered the phone. Left a message and no one has called me back in over a week. Now I will probably get hit with the full amount for the bill and no discount and have to take time out of my schedule to go in person to try and figure this out. We have gone here for many appointments and frequently we are in the waiting room for 45 minutes past our time because they are so far behind and cannot keep a schedule. But if you miss an appointment they want to charge you a fee for wasting their time. What a joke.
I had a good experience with the doctor I saw. She seemed to care, listen and offer solutions. However, they don't answer the phone. I have called over half a dozen times in the last month or so. Not a single time did anyone ever answer the phone. A few of those times I stayed on the phone for 10 minutes before I gave up and left a message. I have called just after 9am when they open, in the afternoon, and in the evening. It never makes a difference, even when their lobby is empty. Looking at my phone, I have spent a total of about 40 minutes on hold trying to get a hold of someone and no one ever answered the phone. If you leave a message it usually takes about 1-2 hours for them to get back. If you miss their call, you have to call back and leave a message (because they won't pick up) then wait another 2 hours or so for them to call back. It can turn scheduling an appointment into all day ordeal.
My husband has been going to the Ferndale clinic for the past few years. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Dr. Snyder is a wonderful doctor, always friendly and listen to what you have to say. We feel very fortunate to have him as our doctor.
I would NOT recommend Ferndale Family Medicine to ANYONE! Not even my dog! Can never get through on the phone to make Dr apps or to pay a bill. They do NOT follow up on meds with your insurance co. The Dr’s do not seem to care about the patients. I really could go on and on. Oh! And if you can’t get through on the phone to pay your bill, THEY get upset with YOU!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
