List of Rachel A Bishop Md's Reviews
She was the doctor assigned to me through Methodist virtual urgent care. There was no "care" given by this doctor. She did not ask questions, was condescending, and not attentive to the patient. Refused to offer anything besides advice that was readily available online. Offered me cough medicine even though I didn't have a cough. I would never recommend her nor would I recommend Methodist primary care physicians who she is affiliated with. I've never been charged so much for so little.
I cannot believe this doctor is the director of telemedicine. This was the worst doctor appointment I've ever had, in person or virtual. She didn't listen, she was condescending, and kept shaking her head as I explained my symptoms and I was begging for relief. She offered me cough medicine even though I never complained of a cough. I remained ill for the next few days before I went to another doctor who gave me the assistance I needed. I would never recommend her to anyone. I wasted a lot of money and time with this doctor.
Booked a video visit with her amidst all this covid stuff and was not taken seriously. She laughed when I first started explaining my problem. I wish I didn't waste my time or money. I'm no expert, but I have two MD friends who I followed up with and they told me not to take her advice. They said it seemed like she just didn't want to help. It felt that way too.
Went with my elderly mother to see Dr. Bishop after a hospital visit.
I can totally understand that the smell of smokers can offend some people. However having an appointment that took me almost an hour to get there, to only be told by a staff member that I was unable to be seen because my HUSBAND smelled like smoke. I was never notified about this when I made the appointment nor was I told while waiting in the waiting room for 20 mins. It was only when I was told to come in that the staff member said I wasn't able to be seen because Dr. Bishop is very sensitive to the smell of smoke. I would suggest flyers and other notifications posted around the office of this dilemma as well as it being mentioned when making an appointment!!
Very good doctor, caring and patient.
With Dr. Bishop's help I have been taken off of blood pressure and diabetes medications along with a reduction of cholesterol medication
I have been going to Dr. Rachel Bishop for a couple of years and with her help I have lost weight, gotten of my blood pressure med., diabetes med, and reduced my cholesterol med. Hopefully after my next visit she will take me off the cholesterol med. My orthopedic doctor told me at a recent visit that most people my age are being put on medications not taken off of them.
She is very ARROGANT. She is dismissive and doesn't listen to one thing you are trying to tell her. Please don't waste you time and money.
VERY ARROGANT

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
