This doctor looks to prescribe medication at any opportunity. He did not inform me of the discontinuation of a blood thinner medication and gave no reason for discontinuing the medication. I eventually ended up in the hospital for this condition with a pulmonary embolism.

Dr. Portelance has been my pcp for a while now. I trust him with making medical decisions with me, as he includes my thoughts and feelings in directions to go with my care. He is willing to research and also point me in directions to do my own research. He truly puts himself in “my shoes” to understand the complaint/condition I’m dealing with.

I used to see Dr. Portland for over 15 years and then my company only had Group Health. They have now changed insurance and I am hoping that I can see him again! He is a great doctor!

Their phone goes to voice mail saying that they are closed frequently and yes I listened to their hours several times and they are closed when they should be open. They are closed right now at 2:00 pm on Tuesday. They're fine when open just disorganized and I have to call 8-12 times every time I try to make an appt. I am a current patient and have been for some time. Maybe not much longer.
