Eric T. Yim's Online Review Report Card

One of the best doctors I’ve ever come across. Had an insanely unique lung complication from a previous surgery figured out in minutes after I saw four other doctors who misdiagnosed the issue.

Dr. Yim is an excellent pulmonologist. He explained the results of my PET Scan, referred me to thoracic surgery, and is now following up on me after surgery. He is competent and professional, clear in explanation and instructions, and has great bedside manner. I appreciate him and his whole department.

It's been a while since I've found a Dr that's not just reactive. and he and his team are also modern in using technology and not requiring appointments for everything including the smallest things like many other Drs. Dr Yim has been proactive in my care. He listens to my issues and doesn't just tell me what I already know or repeat what I told him but digs deeper and considers what if scenarios to increase my readiness and help my breathing both before problems arise and enables me to be ready when problems arise. other Drs I've had and have want an appointment when the issues arise as they treat the now only, which is impossible and a terrible way to practice medicine. He's given me a course of action and medication for not just standard reactive needs but proactive needs/potential likely scenarios helping me live a better and less stressful life decreasing the emergency scenarios I used to have. He's great. He and his office also respond to App IMs same day or next day with courses of treatment for simple needs Vs requiring me to come in the office when an appointment is finally available like many others.

Continues to push a prescription that has put a patient in the emergency room though he knows the history. Irresponsible. Complaint will be forwarded to medical board. Stay away.

Has twice pushed a patient to try a prescription that has been known to cause the patient to de-sat and go to the ER. This is exceedingly irresponsible and we will not be going back. Has displayed a dangerous disregard for patient’s concerns and known medical issues.

Amazing doctor! Plus he is calm, thoughtful, trustworthy. Always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and in a way that we can understand. When you are dealing with a frightening, unexpected health crisis, in addition to knowing you have the very best, knowledgeable, skilled doctor, these additional qualities are beyond appreciated. The highest recommendation you can give anyone (especially a doctor) is "I'd trust him with my life" - I have. And I definitely would again. Highest recommendation.

Great Dr and very personable. He really helped my husband with his asthma.

Dr. Yim was the pulmonary specialist at Evergreen Hospital when our 18 year old daughter was diagnosed with severe pneumonia. When she was suddenly transferred to the Critical Care Unit, Dr Yim quickly assessed the worsening conditions and made the expert decision to put her under intubation. As I was literally FREAKING out in a full panic mode outside the room, Dr Yim took the time to explain the circumstances and the treatment to me. Never mind that I barely listened as I was in shock. Dr. Yim and his staff were so very kind to us and most of all, took amazing care of our daughter. He was paged in the middle of the night due to my daughter's uncontrollable high fever from the resulting ARDS infection. 5 days later, our daughter was discharged and we are working towards a complete recovery. I cannot thank him enough for saving our daughter's life! No words can express the gratitude I feel. He is an amazing Doctor.
