List of Evergreenhealth Medical Center Kirkland's Reviews
ER my son was taken in to ER for ankle injury. My first time there it's a huge place and very clean and efficient and friendly staff. They were busy but they took care of my son and came by to check on him often. He was in there for few hours and he was kept comfortable and even took us a family room to wait . We have to go back for his surgery next week .
I visit Evergreen, Kirkland yesterday for an evaluation for Vivistim insertion surgery which is now scheduled for June. We drove 4 hours as we live in Oregon. My Husband and I were so impressed. Everyone from check in to Doctors and support staff were wonderful. Friendly, caring and knowledgable. Dr Kay and Dr Gwinn were wonderful. They both spent as much time as we needed to explain everything and answer all of our questions. We are so glad we made the drive to get this procedure done at your Hospital. We cannot say enough good things. Thank you
I checked in at Evergreen and was told the wait would be around 3 hours, so I left before being treated. I never received a bill, phone call, or notice afterward because they had incorrect contact information. Months later I received a collections call for about $200 — my first notice that any charge existed. I understand hospitals need to bill for services, but sending accounts to collections without first making reasonable effort to contact the patient creates unnecessary stress and distrust. I’d strongly recommend Evergreen review their notification and billing procedures so patients aren’t surprised by collections for visits where they weren’t even seen. Update: Before we wrote the review, we called their financial department. We were on the phone for two hours and some people said they were a manager when they were not and they were not very helpful. This place is very scammy!!
A lot of other reviews are from negative billing experience but this one is from the quality of care. All I'd ask is why work in a place of care if you don't care about others- no matter what position you're in there. Patients don't want to be at a hospital ever, so just a sprinkle of kindness goes a long way. The staff doesn't want to even check you in nor talk to you once you are checked in.
A close family friend previously stayed in the rehabilitation unit at EvergreenHealth Kirkland, and unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience with one of the nurses. There is a nurse named Zara working on the 4th floor, rehabilitation unit at EvergreenHealth Kirkland. During our friend’s stay, she often appeared unwilling to help and came across as annoyed when patients needed assistance, as if they were interrupting her. She was frequently on personal phone calls during work hours while moving between patients. In a rehabilitation unit, patients depend heavily on staff support and respectful treatment, so this behavior was very concerning to witness. I hope management is aware and addresses professionalism and patient care standards in this unit.
The staff was rude and dishonest. They claimed to conduct a thorough review, yet never talked to me or asked a single follow-up question. They truly do not care about patients.
I wish I could leave a good review but unfortunately this hospital has horrible availability. I’ve only been getting seen once a month for a health issue that is currently at a chronic level. My first initial visit took probably over a month with me waiting from being referred included. Now I’ve been waiting to hear back because they were supposed to call me again but haven’t heard a thing and it’s approaching 2 weeks. By time they even schedule me it’ll probably be another month’s wait on top of the wait I’ve already had. I wish they prioritized organizing availability more. People who need immediate treatment shouldn’t have to wait a month or more just to get treatment.
Thank you to Dr. Nolan, Nurse Blake, the two other nurses that checked up on me, the nurse who checked me in, the nurse who took my blood pressure and took me to my room, the registration staff and security at this AMAZING hospital! I overreacted to a medical situation which turned out to not warrant an emergency room visit. However, I was treated with kindness, patience and care. I’m so grateful! You have no idea the part of me you’ve healed! Thank you so much! Josephine.
My husband and I walked into Evergreen Healthcare Surgery center in Kirkland READY. Bossed up. Emotionally prepared. Spiritually aligned. Wearing our Uterus, Fallopian Tubes, and Cervix Subscription Cancellation Notice T-shirts like we were about to run a marathon instead of evict an organ. And boy oh boy did Dr. Hyde give us that three-fer deal! From check-in to checkout, the whole place matched our energy. The staff were kind, funny, calm, and wildly confident, which is comforting when you’re about to be rebooted like a Windows update with anesthesia. No awkwardness, no fear vibes, just pure “we got you” professionalism. Dr. Hyde is an absolute legend. Not only did he remove my uterus, fallopian tubes and cervix, they removed a world class-act frienenemy. Explanations were clear, timing was smooth, and I never once felt like a science experiment. More like a VIP guest at the Yeeterus Olympics. Recovery instructions? Crystal clear. Support? On point. Sir, when you said you could do these surgeries in your sleep, you said ‘bet, and I’ll even bring receipts. Results? My uterus, fallopian tubes and cervix have officially been uninstalled and picture evidence were sent to me. I have never known peace like this before. If you’re thinking about breaking up with your lady bits, don’t just ghost them, let Dr. Hyde handle the restraining order, moving truck, and permanent eviction. 10/10 would recommend.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
