MIchael Sean Strother's Online Review Report Card

I scheduled an appointment with them, and they were very aggressive mentioning that I should be 15 mins before, because they are "too busy". I had to take a day off work so that I could be on time for my meeting. I show up 15 mins before my appointment just as they asked, and they tell me that they are too busy, and they will not see me, because they wanted to see me 30 mins before... RIDICULOUS! I even showed them the reminder THEY sent me on my phone and told me, well, we can just reschedule because we did not change your appointment... What a JOKE!!! They imply their time is important, but their customer's time is not... STAY AWAY...

Without a doubt, the only dermatologist that I trust. After years of misdiagnosis and crazy recommendations for treatment, 5 seconds with Dr S and he got it right...& a simple painless remedy! I refer him to all and will never go to another dermatologist!

I am honestly pretty surprised by the four good reviews. I read his reviews and looked forward to seeing him as my new dermatologist. After the visit, I left in tears and would never recommend any loved one to him. He made me feel devalued and that everything I was doing was wrong (without an explanation as to why). During the visit I found him quite abrasive and lacking professional decorum. He cussed three times during my visit, raised his voice, and made many off-putting comments that were insulting. I felt uncomfortable by the massive power dynamic. Oftentimes, he would discredit my concerns or the research I had done in what felt like judgmental attacks (all of this stemmed from me being hesitant to take antibiotics lol). I'm more than happy to hear new perspectives or have my ideas challenged, but his method of doing so felt like he was projecting his personal opinions of me. He attacked the previous medical professionals I had visited -- which doesn't feel like an appropriate stance for any doctor to take. He must have skipped the empathy course in medical school. Overall, he was completely unprofessional, prescriptive, and lacked person-focused care. My hope is that Dr. Strother can read this message and grow from this. I know that I will be sticking to other dermatologists in the area and maybe....JUST maybe.... he should stick to entomology where people skills aren't a requirement.... Dr. Strother was wonderful. He's knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He takes his time with you and is gracious as can be. Highly recommend him and his staff.

I went in looking for treatment on my hands and from the reception desk to the actual treatment was exceptionally amazing. Dr. Strother is very kind, knowledgeable and gave me literally the best treatment that I didn't even know existed!! I am so glad I went there, my hands are clearing up almost immediately. Not to mention the fact that the pricing for treatment was amazing. It's also right by Evergreen hospital and the office is really clean & modern. Thank you so much for providing excellent service. 10/10 would recommend

My absolute favorite! honestly, I get excited when it's time to head in for my appointments; Dr.Strother is professional, he's punctual &amp; just an overall joy. Not to mention his team amazing, when you walk in brace yourself for big beautiful smiles at the front. Went in for Keloid treatments and other things and I'm impressed with the outcome thus far. -Mia Gentry
