With a degenerating and painfully arthritic right hip, I pulled the trigger for total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Fuchs on 12/5/22. The procedure went well, from prep to post-op, and I used a walker to meet my wife at the curb... 4hrs after surgery! Recovery went just as Dr. Fuchs had described, and was up and walking with a crutch for 1st 30 days. On day 99, I made several intermediate ski runs at Mt. Rose, NV. I have no problems with the new hip, other than I wish I had done it sooner! I would highly recommend Dr. Fuchs for anyone considering hip or knee replacement.

We have seen 2 other people for consideration for the knee replacement. We decided to choose Dr. Fuchs, who is very personable and very clear with his explanations with what was going to be done and what to expect.

Absolutely the best surgeon I have ever met and had the pleasure to associate with. Personable, speaks plain and to the point. No fluff. And won't sell it unless you tell him you can't take it anymore. Then you get the best service and end result. My new knew is better than OEM. His staff is the best. No comparison. There is no other place to go for orthopedic needs. And he's a great guy too. He knows you because he does what you do. Active, fit and lives life. No bench warmers on his bench.

My pre op and surgery was very detailed and informative. There was a great team working with me. My recovery is working very very well. I am so happy and highly recommend Dr. Fuchs, His personal assistant (Nori) and their team.

Total knee replacement with Dr. Fuchs. I'm 2 weeks post op and feeling great. Dr Fuchs answered all of our questions pre and post op without ever feeling rushed. Nori returned my calls quickly. Such compassion and care from the entire team. Highly recommend!

Dr Robin Fuchs is not only a gifted surgeon, but one of the kindest, compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. Let’s face it - knee replacements are never fun. I was a competitive equestrian and triathlete in my earlier years, and my sports took a toll on my body. My first TKA, done in 2020, was a lengthy, brutally painful recovery. After surgery my doctor was essentially MIA; nearly all my post-op correspondence and appointments were with his assistants. Knee #2, done by Dr Fuchs, was a completely different experience. He personally fielded all my questions, pre- and post-op. I had a remarkably speedy recovery, MUCH less pain, and a surgeon who cared about my outcome. As I was going under anesthesia, he stood close and whispered “ we’ve got you; you’ve got this.” If you need knee surgery, go see Dr Robin Fuchs!

Dr. Fuchs and his entire team were very helpful and presented themselves in a professional manner. There was never any pressure to have surgery only the facts as displayed in reviewing the x-rays of knee. I had left knee replaced three years ago by Dr Fuchs and that went well so choosing him and his team was an easy decision for my left one. It is healing well at this time and a big thanks to all.

Today was my one-year follow-up after having a total knee replacement. This was the best decision I could have made. My knee feels so much better than it did before surgery. It was a lot of work on my part for recovery, but I can truly say that I am in a way better place now. I immediately started my recovery with pilates, which really helped my strength and flexibility. I use my spin bike at least three times a week. I am continuing to strengthen my knee and Dr. Fuchs just told me that the bend in my knee was 145 degrees. That is success. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Fuchs and his staff who stayed on top of everything. Thank You!

Dr. Fuchs is amazing. Left knee replacement went great. His support staff has been there pre and post op to answer any questions. I’m 7 weeks out and pretty much pain free. This is my 9th left knee surgery and didn’t want to have anymore surgeries, but I’m now glad that I did. If I ever need a right knee replacement I wouldn’t hesitate to go here.

Great experience with Dr. Fuchs. He took plenty of time to explain the issues with my meniscus tear and answer any questions that I had. Unlike other doctors I’ve seen, he really listened and seemed interested in the best long term outcome for my health.
