I TOTALLY DON'T AGREE WITH THE PATIENT ABOVE Dr. Atienza is almost always on time. He listen and answers questions. And i have a lot of questions i take her to almost all of her appointments. My mom is 95 lives alone in our 55 year old house. My dad passed away 6 months ago, The Dr has not tried to talk us into moving her to a nursing home ever

Dr. Atienza is my mother's physician. He is extremely frustrating to work with. My mom wants to stay in her home, he keeps talking about a care facility (kickbacks?). I had to argue to have her taken off unnecessary medications. Always pushing for more appointments and more testing. How many times per year do you need to see the doctor when you are over 90? He is a poor listener, and discounts family opinions on matters even when they are carefully researched. The upside - he's close by.
