Very pushy for a very extensive surgery. Was condescending did not listen or answer questions. Not given any physical therapy before or after. No pain meds before or after. Five years later still in tremendous pain and has not helped at all.

Went in for neck issues and surgery was recommended right away, and a drastic one at that - - PRIOR to any MRI or other images being taken. At the second appointment I felt he was very pushy, wanting me to schedule surgery that day. (I didn't). A few days later I received a bill from his office asking for an $800 "estimated payment" prior to scheduling surgery. I called another surgeon and asked for a second opinion. She was patient, reviewed the images, and answered all of my questions. There was no pressure from her whatsoever, and she said I needed a fusion, not the drastic surgery that had been recommended. Needless to say I went with her.

Dr Yamamoto did a great job on my neck. He did an Anterior Cervical Discectomy on my C5-C7 in Sep 2019 and my neck feels great, no more headaches.

I've been a patient of Dr. Yamamoto since 2008. He has consistently been very thorough with my best interests in mind involving 2 brain surgeries and 1 cervical spine triple discectomy surgery and numerous follow-ups. I have the utmost confidence in his abilities. Glenn Teeter
