Do not send your children here! This facility is so unprofessional! the doctors don't listen to you and they will cause more harm than good by over medicating your kids. they wouldn't listen that the meds were making it worse and just kept upping them. They destroyed all the outpatient work we did for my kid. These doctors only care about profit not the well being of our kids!! BEWARE especially of Rajwant Kler and May Claire Villegas!! I'll be taking legal action.

Basically prison lite. It's evident their mission is profit above all. Terrible food, rooms, and furniture. Place is depressing. AND, they STOLE my AA big book, who does that? It was sure as shit in my backpack before they 'inventoried' it like I wouldn't notice when I got my stuff back, unbelievable! So 'mgmt' wherever you're hiding, just know you have a thief in your illustrious staff.

This is the most incompetent and unethical organization I have ever encountered. There is zero therapy, they treat patients somewhere between kindegartners and animals. The MHTs are completely unqualified and hostile. The RNs are great. But there are no doctors and rarely a PAC. If your idea of "therapy" is sitting and doing nothing to "get better" 16 hours a day, this is the place for you. It's a crime scene.

Used to be great. They still have a cafeteria but the food is all processed and canned. They used to have groups throughout the day but now you'll be lucky to have 1 arts and crafts class a day. The staff, for the most part are rude. The providers don't listen to you. Avoid at all costs unless you just want to watch TV all day.

My child has been seen and treated by this facility twice. I have to say, any child that is there and gets the privilege of being treated by Jen the therapist is lucky. She is absolutely wonderful! She relates to the kids and the parents in a way that is kind, and fosters and nutures the relationships between the children and their parents. She provides tools to utilize in everyday life through positive reinforcement and open communication. Thank you Jen...South Sound Behavioral Hospital is so lucky to have you!!

Don't go here, it's not worth it, very underwhelming and not the best place for mental health and care.

I recommend South Sound Behavioral Hospital because I have seen how hard the staff work to solve problems for people in very challenging, complicated, scary parts of their lives.

Well, maybe if they'd call us back to get our daughter into outpatient therapy, I would give a decent review. It's been going on three months since I took her to South Sound Behavioral Hospital. They sent us home saying she would benefit more from outpatient services. After weeks of trying to get a hold of someone there to set that up, I was finally able to get her an assessment appointment. They told us if we didn't hear back from them within a week, to call them. In which I've basically called them at least 20 times now, only to be transferred to a voicemail that either says it's full or if I can leave a voicemail, no one has ever gotten back with me. Now, it's been over 2 months and still not a single person has called us back to get her into therapy. I'm sorry, but my daughter is very important to me. She is just as important as anyone else and needs therapy desperately. There isn't much out there for group therapies, in which she needs most. I've sent a direct email to them as well... to no avail. Very disappointing and very frustrating.

My friend Austin was treated terribly here and witnessed the lack of professionalism and empathy first hand. When called out on their antics, including disrespecting patients, lying and stealing patient property, they blocked him. Do not go here or send any loved ones here.
