Superfine.
Very rude doctor!
I had a thing on my nose (basal cell carcinoma) and on my face (pre-cancerous) that my primary spotted, so I was told to see a dermatologist. I went with Pace Dermatology and made the mistake of asking to see one of the two Pace brother doctors rather than the Nurse Practitioner. Two visits later, Andrew Pace has: 1) confirmed the diagnoses of my primary, 2) Frozen off pre-cancerous lesions on my face and head, 3) Conducted a full body scan for other bad stuff. Total bill (before insurance): $800 Total bill (after insurance): $572.03 Total time in the office: 20 minutes (for both visits) Total time on the full body scan: 5 minutes Recommendation: 2x visits/year What a total rip off! This practice is the exact definition of all that is wrong with our medical system. At this billing rate, Andrew Pace is pulling in $3.6 M annually. I understand that there are costs he is incurring, such as paying for the building, insurance, staff, etc, but that cannot amount to more than $600k annually. So...should a dermatologist be making $3M a year while providing very basic service...I hope not! The odd thing is that I heard a story about a patient who saw the Nurse Practitioner in that practice. The body scan took the full appointment time and included checks between the toes (Given the brevity of my appointment, I don't know if Dr. Andrew Pace even knows if I have toes). I don't know the fees involved, but I bet they were lower. And even if they weren't, at least the patient was treated like something more than an ATM. Go somewhere else!
After 5 phone calls, an email request and holding on the phone close to 20 minutes in all, I was unable to speak to anyone. The receptionist promptly put me on hold 3 times, and didn't answer at all 2 times. Email request ignored. They obviously have too many patients as it is.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
