I have been with the practice and Brina Turnbull for three or four years now. She has steadily provided care and remedies for my condition(s) that have worked. She collaborates well with my other medical providers and her Medical assistant is top notch. I can’t thank Pace Dermatology enough! 🙂

Always on schedule, never sitting around in the waiting room. Dr. Pace has been very thorough and efficient.

Office policies are flawed and shady. My insurance requires a prior authorization for certain medications. Pace Dermatology is an in-network provider and will not do these. This means that a medication that would cost me $10 with my insurance will cost $80. It seems ridiculous to accept insurance for an appointment but can’t just fill out a form and fax it to insurance when it comes to the actual treatment, especially when on their phone tree options they have a prior authorization team (although they never answer and the mailbox won’t let you leave a message). It’s also interesting that when I went to file a complaint with my insurance company on this office, I found that my visit was never billed to insurance- therefore I cannot file a complaint with no claim to reference. The timing seems to coincide with this review- very shady practices overall.

This was my initial visit with Pace. The receptionist was very friendly and provided me the forms to fill out in the waiting room. At exactly my appt. time a employee took me into the exam room and Dr. Lam came in almost immediately. He queried me as to my issues, examined me, treated me for one issue, diagnosed two other issues, and wrote prescriptions for treatment for one month, and had his assistant escort me to the front desk for my 1-month checkup appt. I entered 15 minutes before my appointed time, was examined, set a new appt. and was out of the clinic in less than 1/2 hour. Most efficient doctor appointment I have ever had. Thank you, PACE!
