Absolutely great experience. Had a hip replacement zero post surgery pain I've had patella surgery and Achilles surgery in Seattle. Dr Gray best doctor ever been to. He cares about you as a person
Dr. Gray did surgery on my knee cleaning out cartridge and repaired the meniscus. I felt listened to and I had minimal scaring. Great follow-up care as well. It is best to call the office than request a visit online.
Appointment was on time and dr. Gray fully explained what to expect and addressed my needs.
I highly recommend Dr. Richard Gray and his team for hip surgery. I had my right hip replaced mid September and within 2 weeks, I was driving my own car. I was very impressed with all the pre-surgery education that was given and all the pre-op and post op follow up phone calls. At the "joint class" we were given work books that laid out exactly what to expect both before and after surgery. One item in the work book was a referral for a "prehab" visit with a physical therapist to prepare you for correct methods of using a walker, and cane along with the proper ways to use stairs immediately after surgery. His staff was always readily available to answer any questions or concerns. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not require any pain narcotic meds after surgery. Any discomfort was easily controlled with Tylenol and/or Advil. In my case the only discomfort consisted of soreness around the incision - nothing more. I went home the same day of surgery and was able to comfortably use a walker and climb stairs. After a couple weeks I was able to start walking without the use of a cane for short periods. Thank you for giving me my life back. I plan on having my other hip done in the future -- actually looking forward to it. Dr. Gray and his team are caring and compassionate and truly listen to you.
great staff and surgeon, back playing baseball in 2 weeks!!
Dr. Gray is a great doctor! He’s understanding, compassionate, & relatable. He talks to you...not down at you. He listens. His staff is is pretty great, too!I would recommend Dr. Gray to anyone who needs his kind of expertise.
Dr. Gray and his team are caring, efficient, highly skilled, and accessible. Over time, they’ll help you make the decision for surgery and then stay with you every step of the way as you recover, giving you everything you need to know for success in their joint surgery handbook. For my TKR, I checked into the surgery suite at 9:15 am and was back home at 1:15 pm. Friends tell me your only regret after knee surgery is that you didn’t do it sooner. Just so, thanks to this excellent practice.
I started having problems with my knee when I was 35 by the time I was 37 I had torn acl, mcl, meniscus vertically and laterally and severe arthritis in my left knee. I went 7 years with this because Doctors said I was too young. I then at 44 went to Dr Gray and was heard and he agreed with what I've been saying for years. I had total knee replacement on Jan 7th and have to say my experience has been great. I have nothing but praise and thanks to Dr Gray. I highly recommend him.
Nine days after complete hip replacement surgery I no longer needed pain medication or a walker. I arrived at St. Joseph hospital at 5:45 am on the day of my surgery and returned to my home an hour away after the surgery at 5:45 pm the same day. The time in the hospital was exceptional as well.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
