I had to have a day procedure at Emerald Hospital and was assigned Dr Peter Ganter. Dr Ganter was very personable and explained the procedure in detail. I was a little late going in for surgery and he came out and spoke with me, apologised for the delay (due to an emergency) and was genuinely caring and very professional. Going through the public system, I feel very fortunate to have had Dr Ganter caring for me.

Peter was my ob for all three of my babies, he was thorough, knowledgeable and I had every confidence in his ability. No more babies for us, but I would absolutely go back to him if we had decided to have any more.

Dr. Ganter's physical examinations are tied with the most thorough physical examinations I've ever had, and his tie-mate was from the 1960's - 70s. He is thorough, professional, and competent in his examinations, diagnoses, and treatments.

Dr Ganter didn't pay enough attention to my baby towards the end of my first pregnancy several years ago. She was born severely underweight as a result of several factors not picked up during routine visits. I was disappointed to say the least.

This Dr knows his stuff. Too bad a local Hospitalist totally dissed his diagnosis because he would rather have pts with insurance other than Medicare/OHP

We are currently with Dr Ganter for IVF. Gosh we love him! We unfortunately had a failed first cycle with our embryos not surviving fertilization and have now started our second cycle. Dr Ganter treated my endometriosis prior to commencing IVF. We love that he is factual and clear cut but through the dry sense of humour it's clear he cares for each patient and genuinely loves his work. He often takes appointments outside normal hours if needed and is meant to be on 'leave' when I have to go in for my next scan and will be coming in to see me. Nothing but praise for this doctor.

My experience with this doctor was awful. Cold, abrupt, uncaring. Did not provide appropriate care after a serious complication and was easily angered when I asked any question about my condition or why he was treating (or not treating) me appropriately.
