Dr. Rowland was a fantastic OBGYN for my first pregnancy. She was always very respectful, knowledgeable and listened to any concerns or questions. Exams were painless and easily scheduled. I delivered at 41 weeks 4 days after being induced. After 36 hours of labor and no baby I ended up with a C-section. The entire process could have been traumatic and disappointing but wasn't because of Dr. Rowland. She was patient and we tried every thing possible to avoid surgery. She was even willing to let me labor longer. As a critical care RN who is quite picky with her providers she was top notch. It's been almost two years and I am still upset she left to become a hospitalist in Bellingham. I still haven't found a replacement.

I felt very comfortable with Doctor Rowland, who is very knowledgeable without coming across as "fussy". The office and nursing staff are also very pleasant. I felt like Dr. Rowland presented all our options when appropriate, listened, and respected our decisions. I would add that she and her nurse were also very welcoming to my husband on his visits, and made sure to greet and get to know him a little, also congratulating him on our pregnancy. Dr. Rowland is a mother too, clearly able to relate to me as an expectant mother from her own personal experiences.

Dr Rowland is the first and only doctor that I have felt comfortable with ever. I would recommend her to any female who is in need of a doctor for a pregnancy. Now if only I could pack her and take her with me if I were to move to another town. She is the best
