I saw Dr. Campbell 6 days post-op for repair of 2 herniated discs and 4 stenosed spinal nerves L4-S1 area. I have always had high pain tolerance issues.Preoperatively I told my PCP I was terrified of experiencing the pain I had after my 2nd back surgery. My PCP said he was aware of my high pain tolerance and promised to provide and execute a plan for post-op pain relief and treatment. Unfortunately, he went on vacation and failed to share a plan with anyone. Finally, on Friday (day 5) after trying to reach my PCP I learned he was on vacation. I was given a Saturday appt. with Dr. Campbell. He listened to me--truly listened, was compassionate and respectful of my experience. He treated me appropriately and I finally had some relief. I had to call him back after 6 days and again he treated me appropriately and the prime Rx was not a narcotic although he did order some for me. I have been treated as "drug-seeking" 3X in the past. I am a retired ICU RN,CCRN, 25 yrs...I know what that is

Dr Campbell has taken exceptional care of me off and on for the last year and a half and is very concerned about each and every patient. I have requested since my doctor moved away that I see him if possible
