List of L Katie Morrison's Reviews
Have seen a few dermatologists over the years whom have retired or moved away. I am happy w Dr. Morrison and her staff and appreciate the care.
She helped me a lot with my hands and skin.
Dr. Katharine Morrison is a kind, caring, gentle & very experienced/knowledgeable physician who I highly recommend for the services she provides. She finds a good balance between rational & emotions (comes from a place of wisdom & awareness). A compassionate problem solver. This review may sound a bit gushy.. and it has been challenging for me (like so many) to find doctors who see each person as a *whole* person. Btw, while the building itself is "meh", her birthing rooms are just beautiful. Crisp, exceedingly clean, cozy.. all that stuff. Anyway, to some it up, she's great :)
I find Dr. Morrison to an excellent dermatologist and a caring doctor. Randy
I saw Dr. Morrison today for a full body skin check and a few areas of concern to me. I did not think she was good at all. She showed lack of concern and the full body skin check was maybe 5 minutes?? I am a registered nurse and wow hope she really looked. She was very nonchalant about it all that even though the office is on time which I like and close to home I don't know that I would go back. She took off a few spots on my chest, but I wish she had shown me with a mirror before so I can be alerted to more showing up. Anyway it was quick, but I feel it could have been more thorough. Perhaps this is how Dermatologists are, but I feel things could easily be over looked. I almost felt as if she does not like her job it was odd.
After a long wait and finally being able to see a dermatologist for my extreme case of Seborrheic dermatitis (aka dandruff) on my face, I was prescribed dandruff shampoo and lotion which I had tried in an OTC dosage previously with no results. It didn't help, so I went back a second time as requested only to be told there was nothing else that could be done. Really? One treatment option that literally everyone on the planet knows about didn't work and there is literally not a single other possibility? Hard to believe, but to add insult to injury I was asked if I wanted to make a follow up appointment... for what? Dr. Morrison has no idea what the problem was and put zero effort into trying to figure it out. Why pay a specialist who doesn't know anything more about her specialty than a GP?
Absolute billing nightmare. You've been warned. There isn't enough room to describe the complete lack of caring from Dr. Morrison and her billing staff. Worst medical experience. EVER!
I went to Dr. Morrison based on reviews. While I am sure she is competent, her "bedside manner" is less than stellar. I felt my appointment for an all over skin cancer check was rushed (which it was), like she could've cared less, and then taking a couple of spots off (while ok from a pain tolerance point) which was just done in a perfunctory manner. When I told my sister I went for this skin cancer check, she asked me if I was checked between my toes and down my legs. I wasn't. Would not use this doctor again.
BEWARE. This provider caused the death of my full term, 9lb 13oz baby. I begged for surgical intervention to save my child's life, but Morrison refused, stating, "There is only one way to birth a baby and that is to push." Morrison has been sued multiple times for medical malpractice relating to infant demise and botched abortions (see: New York State Supreme Court database). Morrison does not inform her patients of her actual patient mortality rate and fails to inform patients that she carries ZERO medical malpractice insurance for anything other than "normal birth."After her negligence killed my son, Morrison blamed me for his death.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
