List of Devin Spera's Reviews
I've read these reviews and I can't say I am surprised. I worked the ER with Spera when he was doing his residency. He was a jerk then and I see he still is. Such a shame, because he was fortunate enough to spend his residency at one of the best teaching hospitals in the nation.
He treated a Veteran friend of mine. His first words to my friend were: "This is not a hotel and you can't be admitted". The VA and insurance had already authorized his stay there AND transport to Capitol Medical in Olympia. He talked to him like he was a little kid, rude and disrespectful. My friend is handicapped, not mentally retarded. Then he refused to help him find transport home. So he had to drive his electric wheelchair home wrapped in just a sheet because he did not have clothes. (the ambulance had brought him in from home.) I see other people have had the same type of response from this guy. Time to revoke his medical license.
Dr. Spera is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He is not aware of the laws regarding a patient's access to their own medicals records. He is rude and disrespectful. I overheard him with another patient wanted to look at their x-ray and he refused. He should not be practicing.
3 hours in the er 2 hours before seeing him never found out his name until I read the discharge papers. Confrontational when confronted about hearing him talk bad about us from the other room, childish
Absolutely awful. Terrible bedside manner. Avoid if possible.
Saw him a few months ago in the ED so the wait was long. He was concise and accurate, pretty personable. The nurse did not seem too bright. Appointment and follow up do not apply
he took too long to see me, spent too little time with me. It was busy but still. All the same he was good to me and seemed to care.
what a guy! He really got down to business and made things happen for me. #1

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
