My Mom has been in Hospice for almost 2 months. I have seen such a dramatic change in her happiness. I owe it all to the kindness, compassion and great medical care she is recieving from Hospice. They have done so much to make sure my Mom is comfortable. Every single staff person involved in Mom's care has done a great job in communicating her care and well being. I can't put into words how much delight my Mom gets when the Harpist, April visits. I will be forever grateful to Hospice for making my Mom's final months happy and comfortable for her. You are all angels.

I cannot believe that this is what Anacortes has to offer for hospice. What a joke. They get a gold medal in turning a blind eye to hospice patient abuse. Quite frankly this place is an embarrassment. The providers are easily manipulated and do not take protecting their patients seriously. I will be reporting this place to the state of Washington.

I just want to thank Hospice of the Northwest for keeping my mom comfortable in the last weeks of her life. My sister and I cared for her at home, but we felt so completely supported by the hospice staff, who were available day and night. As a funeral director I deal with lots of hospice agencies, and most are very good; HotNW still managed to stand above and beyond for an absolutely amazing job caring for my father. From the first day they were contacted they were quick to arrive and set up, kept in contact and supported my parents, even gave my dad a haircut in bed to make him feel more comfortable and more dignified. Thank you all so much.

Even though most of the people are great a certain lazy nurse gave my dying husband and I a night of pure he'll. I was told if things got desperate someone would help me but she was simply too lazy.

I continue to be impressed with Hospice of the Northwest for many reasons. Their mission to serve everyone no matter their location (housed, houseless, car, etc.) and their ability to do so with compassion and dignity is touching and to be celebrated.
