I have never experienced a doctor so removed from his patients concerns as doctor Chu was. I came in expecting to discuss and maybe discover and learn something about the sudden onset pain I’ve been experiencing. Instead this guy comes in taps both knees and said: lots of things begin at your age (I just turned 60 a week prior) and didn’t at all talk about the kinds of things that I could be dealing with, just said that he was going to order an MRI, and then said that my insurance may not cover it, then promptly left. The entire meeting lasted maybe 5 minutes. I had a lot of questions, but he didn’t provide any space for that. He was gone and I left extremely disappointed in his service. I now know why they asked me which doctor I wanted to see. I will never see doctor Chu again. He’s terrible at bedside manner and should probably retire.

I agree with last review that it is too rushed. I would add that in addition to talking fast for me, I can not give a response in or even a question, Of which I had a couple. I finally gave up. I had injections here previously but could not get him to listen to where it would flair up on me. He was only interested in where it hurt at that moment.

Dr. Cui is a nice man and quite efficient. However, he makes the appointment time feel rushed, he talks entirely too fast and expects you to remember all of what he says! When I make an effort to drive 1 1/2 hours to my appointment, wait for him up to 20-25 minutes past my appointment time and he spends 5 or maybe 10 minutes with me, I feel overwhelmed and rushed. I appreciate his help with the diagnosis of osteoarthritis in my hips with which he gave me a corticosteroid injection within the same appointment and it has helped. He’s kind but appointment time is too rushed and it would be nice to have a printed copy of his suggestions, diagnosis and whatever else is discussed.

Recently, I visited Dr Ciu for the 2nd time in 3 years. The first time, he diagnosed my problem correctly and gave an injection that helped alleviate pain for nearly a year. This time, he listened to my concerns, took appropriate xrays to check for changes then administered another injection. It's too soon to know if the injection will work as well as the first. I am glad he was referred to me; his honesty, competency and expertise are greatly appreciated.

Great Doctor. We are just starting my Wife’s treatment You will get a 5 Star rating if she gets her back pain relieved. He seems to know how to respond. quickly making referrals for MRI and to give her prescriptions For meds. Hoping we will know more after MRI. The pain was a little helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you DrNimmyCui
