Consult for pending inguinal hernia surgery to correct a previous surgery by another VA Dr..He is very knowledgeable and clearly explained the possible choices and effect of each choice. He gave tremendous preference to what my wishes were, in line with possible outcomes. I had the other side done by him 5 years ago with no problems.

This was a consultation to schedule surgery. Dr Dean had previously discussed and explained the details of my procedure and I had to postpone. At this consultation he again explained my issue and the corrective actions needed. Dr Dean is friendly, down to earth and easy to understand. I have total confidence in him as we move forward with my surgery.

I saw Dr. Dean for a surgical consultation. I found him to be calming, informative, and helpful. He explained my upcoming procedures well, drawing illustrations to assist in the explanations. He gave me plenty of his time and was not hurried. I have often reviewed patient's comments concerning a provider prior to a visit and found doing so to be helpful. I wanted to do the same for other future patients.

Well much like a lot of men I don't care to go to the doctor . Having said this I think this was a positive experience for me . He is a no nonsence person and yet very personable . This makes it easy to understand him . I can recommend him .

Dr. Dan did a marvelous job I said Dr. Dean the hospital did a wonderful job to Dr. Dean’s assistant came to see me today as I am going home my whole state was very nice in the hospital and I think Dr. Dean’s job is a miracle surgery I am very impressed and he seems like such a nice nice person easy to talk to easy to talk to
