List of Sea Mar Mount Vernon Medical Clinic's Reviews
I was seen by Catherine shull. My first time at this clinic. She was awesome. She was friendly and made me feel like she really cared about my well being!
DO NOT GO FOR PRENATAL CARE. They are lazy and will just refer you out saying you are "high risk" when you aren't. The ob Dr Lazada (I probably didn't spell that right) acts extremely awkward doing any check up and makes you feel uncomfortable almost like it's wierd for her to preform medical check ups and procedures. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
My nurse practioner, Y Shull listened and responded to all my needs. She truly understood the complexity of my needs. I am a very complicated patient, and because they treat low income their office is swamped. But she still took my needs seriously and did right by me. I don't expect free care to happen quickly, I knew I would have to wait, and the care I was given was worth waiting for. Thank you
My (now fired) doctor, Zemfira Schwartz, refuses to prescribe the medication they've had me on for two years. No reason why just refuses to do it. She's a terrible doctor that ignores what your saying because she's to busy knowing everything already. Plus she's super judgmental. She'll make you take a drug test if you have ideas about whats wrong with you, then prescribe you 6 different meds that have nothing to do with your symptoms. Dont forget the data breach not long ago that leaked all of their patients med records and personal information! SeaMar behavioral, after two years, Will no longer prescribe my meds because they have too many patients to not give a sh!t about. Stear clear of both places, its actual 3rd world medicine
the appointment itself was actually okay. I totally understand the clinic gets busy and wait time was okay. Staff and Doctor all helped me get the labs and exam done properly.... However, when I call back to ask about results, I was always placed on hold, getting mixed information back, and people told me they would call me back with more information, yet 4-5 calls later, I don't hear any response. Every time I had a different person picking up the call, and they all said different things. Feels like people are just fooling me around and making excuses to delay my call and the paper work I need. Very displeasing and disappointed for the high fee I paid for the work!!!!
Very displeasing reception. Staff can't understand my concerns. It makes me feel like people are just fooling me around with new excuses and delaying my paper work. I understand they can be busy, but the way they kept telling me mixed information and different excuses made me very frustrated.-------------------------------------------------Below is the message I replied to Sea Mar, and I guess everyone deserves to have more information before they walk into any clinic, and I am hoping to make this right because I myself am a healthcare worker:I totally understand the clinic gets busy because I myself work in one, and I try to be polite to ask about my paperwork every time I called in. But the fact that no staff is knowledgeable about my concern makes me very frustrated. I pay for 500 dollars to get an immigrant exam at the clinic, and I chose Sea Mar because I was told I could possibly receive everything in around a week if I am prepared for the exam. That being said, I came to the clinic with all immunizations done and the filled-out paperwork. I found out the labs came back negative two days later, so all I need will be someone filling out the form, signed by the doctor, and forms sealed up. I called in many times asking about the progress, but every time a different staff picked up the call and I had to explain everything again. Each of them told me they will ask the nurse and give me a callback, but none of them did. Finally, I commuted for half an hour to the clinic Tuesday afternoon after I was told the nurse is aware of my emergency and will work on the form that afternoon.... but again they told me there is a new form released by USCIS and information needs to be updated to the new form. This will be delayed until the end of the week. Yet I have already lost trust in your clinic, after hearing about different excuses every day. The first time I was told the lab work was not ready (which I KNOW ALL CAME BACK NEGATIVE the day before). The second time I was told it need a final review by the doctor who was not in. The third time they told me the nurse who was working on the form was not in. When I came into the clinic, one receptionist just told me "you didn't say it was an immigration physical, it is different from a normal physical. It was wrong what I told you. It will not be ready." Okay, I think a common sense from the staff based on my own experience would be, "I hear your frustration and I am sorry about the delay, but please understand there is a new form released by the USCIS and it takes time by the nurse to fill in the information again. We are being careful as this will help later with your case that you won't have to repeat the exam for USCIS." BUT NO, I don't hear any sympathy or understanding, and if only one receptionist had more information and was transparent with me, it would have saved much of my time calling and commuting to the clinic..
Everyone I dealt with was upbeat and helpful. My doctor (dr Rak) couldn’t have been better. She listened to my concerns without being rushed and addressed them clearly. I felt treated as a person and not a statistic
I don't understand all the bad reviews for this place because everyone was nice. I didn't have to pay anything for 2 extractions. Pain was fairly mild and no real issues other than getting a 4 inch needle stabbed into back of your jaw line. That's normal for an extraction (I hope!...lol).
A receptionist for dental appointment was awful. I understand that she is busy but the way that she treated her patients was unprofessional.
Oye this place is WAY over the limit for people. They are overbooked understaffed and you will know it from arrival till departure. Not a lot of smiling going on or so it seemed. It's a Dr./Dentist office that says it all, sliding scale too. They are bilingual and also do sliding scale fee and no or low cost stuff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
