My mother was the first resident to live at La Pierre and was there for over a year when her vascular dementia required a higher level of skilled care until her passing. The care givers were very compassionate and saw to her needs both physical and emotional. They customized her day based upon her desires such as sleeping in late and still having breakfast once she was up and endless requests for coffee. She was a bit of a picky eater and they accommodated her food preferences. They allowed us to bring some of her special furniture so she felt "at home". They took her on outings and kept me informed of any changes they observed in her health and integrated all physician recommended care. As with all relationships, communication is key. The management was always responsive and listened to any requests we made. I would use La Pierre again for other family members should the need arise and have recommend them to friends of mine.

This is a very nice facility. Small and cozy and very friendly . nice access to backyard patio.Good locale.

This adult home is very nice. In fact, we chose this home for our disabled sister and was ready to set her up to move in. However, once the final contract paperwork was being done, we were advised that the financial agreement presented at the time of the tour could not be honored. Be aware that Pauline the manager is not the owner, which is shown on site and brochures. It is owned by a corporation and any deals must have approval through their board. What sounds all nice and neat at the time of presentation and tour is not honored. This place put us in a quick scramble to start from scratch to find a home for our sister. Not a good experience during a very difficult and stressful time.
