Emergency after hours visit. He was calm, gentle, professional and genuine. Called the emergency dept at Harborview to discuss and prepare them,so they were ready when we arrived. He adjusted his schedule after surgery at Harborview was done to make sure we got the post op attention and care needed. A genuinely kind and caring man!! A++

I have been examined by Dr. Pereira in Bellingham for four years. Medicare pays because I have macular degeneration. He is very thorough, and so are his assistants. I get a complete examination. I have purchased frames and lenses there.

As others have stated. 6 years now, pain around eye, flashing lights. Now experiencing double vision, eye watering down the cheek. He lied to me about cause of temporary blindness during surgery

Before moving to Mount Vernon in late May 2019, I contacted Dr. Pereira's office to set up initial consultation in early June. I have been extremely pleased with the highly professional and caring manner of Dr. Pereira and all staff during my first two visits, and expect that level of service to continue for all my future ophthalmology care needs.

Dr Pereira restored my eyesight. I had three kinds of cataracts in both eyes, he removed the old lens and placed a new lens in one eye then two weeks later the other eye. No problems at all, it's nice to see again. Thank you to all the staff as well, they are all very professional.

He was very informative and explained the procedure and any questions I had ..Very caring … Everyone in the office is way above par So helpful and friendly, a change from lots of other offices … Highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care, especially cataract surgery … Made it so easy ...

Amazing Dr with equally amazing staff. My sister in law came in with a rare form of Glaucoma that required emergency surgery followed by now the first of two Cataracts surgery's. They have treated her with such compassion, caring and genuine love its is a joy to call them her Dr. They also made me and my family feel a part of all of it. Understanding it take a team to heal.
