Terrible doctor. Does not listen to you or your concerns. I will not go back to her and recommend you don’t waste your time or money. Wish I could give negative stars for her. Seriously stay away!!!

My mom has had a horrible experience with Dr. Scheidt. In addition to her condescending attitude, she tried to quickly remove her from a medicine she’s been on for 30 years. This sent her into AFib and required a hospital stay to stabilize her. Afterwards she was still resistant to recognizing the error. She also refused to take telephone appointments during this time as my mom was too weak to physically get there (not to mention the ongoing pandemic). It was an all-around terrible standard of care.

I have been seeing Dr Scheidt, as my primary care physician, for several years. She is professional and caring. I have never received less than excellent care. Her referrals have been excellent as well when I needed a specialist. The staff greets me by name and I feel like I am part of their family and that they care about me as a person than just a number to be processed and rushed through.

Judye has been our physician for years now, and had been attentive to our needs.

I was transferred from my full MD doctor to Schiedt, because my doctor had to leave to take care of familyAfter just one visit she's taking me fully off of my pain meds, when I run out at the end of this week. I still need hemp with my very real pain. But worse, I did nothing wrong, and now I get to go through withdrawal, without tapering. All because of this person's attitude issues.....That's not being a doctor. That's being a cold hearted, sub human.I hope she gets stuck with immeasurable pain one day

I had seen Schiedt for over 6 years. She sent me home after x-rays showing 2/3 of my lung full of pneumonia! I've been on the wrong level of thyroid medicine! She never told me i had Emphysema, the x-ray tech did. I NEEDED her to help desperately with a situation and she agreed, and used the wrong test and said horrendous things about me as she refused to help me. She's never done ANYTHING worthy except to write referrals. NEVER seen me in all my hospital stays. She's not doctor material. Told me i needed to weigh 165 pounds! Then had her tummy stapled! i am a slim 150! What is this all about. i had to stop and look at what she has done in my life. NOT a doctor, at all! This is a true shame because there is so much more! After a time you see what is happening, be careful with this one!

Dr. Scheidt is a wonderful doctor. She is kind, thorough, and really listens to her patients. She is by far the best physician I have seen in Oak Harbor.

I started seeing Dr. Scheidt in high school for hormonal issues. She put me on 2 different types of birth control, which both made things worse. Later, I asked to get some tests done or get a referral to an endocrinologist, thinking that my thyroid might be involved. She refused, suggesting that it’s probably just PMS. Turns out that I have a thyroid problem and 3 autoimmune diseases. So glad I went off-Island to ask for a second opinion.

Absolutely horrible experience. Dr. Scheidt is rude, condescending and ignorant of modern health care. She is quick to throw more and more medication at the problem, but refuses to do the work to find out what the underlying problem is. Don't go to her if you have a choice.

Dr. Scheidt is one of the most empathic Dr's I have ever met. When you are sitting across from her, not only do you know she cares, you feel it. But she goes even further then that, what ever the issue may be that brought you into her office , she doesn't give up until she can find a reason and a solution. Oak Harbor is lucky to have her.
