Sea Mar Ocean Shores Medical Clinic's Online Review Report Card

(Star rating is for Dr Kerbacher only, the rest of the staff are fantastic.)The worst experience I've had with a medical professional, as a transgender patient that's saying something. I greeted him when he entered the room and was given only a disdainful look in return. The first thing he asked was "what makes you think I'm going to fill any of these" in a tone so rude it left me momentarily speechless. As he went down my list of medications and came to my hormones his disgust with my transition was palpable. I don't tolerate blatant disrespect so I cut the appointment short and stood to leave, wherein I had to ask him three separate times to move so I could exit the exam room. He had a subdued tantrum at this point, apparently upset that I had no interest in listening to his scrutinization of my medical needs. This is a medically underserved community, he's nearing retirement age, and I get the distinct feeling he's just coasting until he retires because he knows the difficulty with replacing him. Go elsewhere, you'll likely just be referred out anyway.

Staff are great, Dr. isn't. He's mostly just a clearinghouse, sends you to other doctors but doesn't actually do an exam. I couldn't get in 3 days ahead of time for labs so he cancelled my last appointment, had it rescheduled without consulting whether I had an issue I needed to discuss that I considered urgent. Medicine only on his terms.

Only giving this 1 star for the staff and because I couldn't give it a 0. The staff were great. The doctor was unhelpful barely conducted an exam, Asked 0 questions answered most of my questions by saying "I don't know about that" and spent less than 5 minutes in the room. He ordered labs for 3 months out. He could not have cared less about who I was, what medical problems I had or what I might need. Never going back. Drive to Aberdeen. It has to be a better option.

A continued disservice to the community with lack of competent MD’s.

I scheduled a appointment for 6/29. Today is 6/15 and they called me and said they transferred my doctor to another office and would no longer honor the appointment and the soonest they could see me was 8/2. Unacceptable. I am dealing with health issues that need to be addressed and I already have been waiting for 1 month. They said they have only 1 doctor now. They have many people working this building but only 1 doctor?!? Now I have to take a day off work and go to aberdeen to see somebody sooner. I really wish there was another option in Ocean Shores because this place sucks.

I find the front desk staff always professional and efficient. The lab and pharmacy staff are also easy to work with..I've had excellent education on nutrition- label reading, growing my own sprouts at home! I also had NP Roberts for my Primary Care she was very personable and always listened to my concerns.. Wish she was still there. Dr.Kerbaucher listens to my needs and gives referrals for other care as needed for my wellbeing and health. Thankful that we have this facility in Ocean shores!

I like this clinic because the staff are professional, no-nonsense and efficient. Lab and pharmacy services are the best I've ever experienced compared to Seattle, Puyallup, Tacoma and Phoenix. Dr. Kerbacher listens and hears my concerns and makes good recommendations. They offer excellent patient education and care coordination support. The pharmacy service is incredibly fast.

The staff up front and the nurses and the pharmacy are five stars. I will keep this blank for the time being we'll see what happens Monday..

Professional, friendly and efficient. Chastity was very thorough , noticed and took care of overdue vaccines and mammogram appointments

Had an appointment for a mammogram that was made way in advance. The have a mobile unit that comes around every few months. I got there in time for my appointment. The mobile unit was stationed outside and I checked in and was told there would be over an hour wait time!!! I have an appointment, well we got double booked! To make it even more pleasant they were making us all wait outside in the cold!!! Thank God it wasn't raining but still cold!!! How the heck did you get double booked???? Very, very bad service. I finally gave up and left when things weren't moving along at all! They said they would be back sometime in January, but no idea when and would call me. Yeah right, and I trust you now??? I'd bet money that I will never receive a phone call from Sea Mar staff. Dr Kurbacher, worse Dr ever. My husband and I neither one will go see him for anything. Dr Roberts was a very sweet person, but lousy as a a medical person. She is now gone, gee I wonder why???
