The office in Shelton is unprofessional and verbally abusive. They treat Medicaid clients with discrimination.

I went in for an eye exam because i hadnt had one in about 20 years. Everything was okay although the staff seemed a little stale. The next day my eye hurt from bright lights so i tried to make an appt at the shelton office but they said the doc wasnt in, but was in their olympia branch. So i drove over there and he examined me and said i had a bacterial infection and perscribed me drops and said he wanted to see me again in 1 week so be sure things looked better. I went back in and everything was fine. Four months later i get a bill from them for $50. I went in and they said it was a co-pay for the last two visits. I explained to them in all my 34 years ive never had an issue with my eyes and the day after i get and exam i get an infection and have to be treated. When i went into those visits they didnt ask me for a co-pay whatsoever. When i asked them why it took four months to bill me, they told me their billing person was on vacation. Really??? Four month vacation? I thought they were unprofessional in the amount of time it took to bill me, and when confronted they said "Thats just how things worked around here." In conclusion i wont be returning, and discourage anyone else from seeing doctor James H. Grimes in the Shelton, Olympia, or any other branches he is involved in.
