List of L. Anthony Agtarap's Reviews
Dr Agtarap actually listened to me and didn't just jump straight to surgery as a solution and that means a lot to me.
Dr. Agtarap has always been wonderful. He’s professional, courteous and does a great job explaining what and why he believes the issue is. He’s big on working with all other alternatives before mentioning surgery as an option as well.
The best! I have multiple osteoarthritic issues and. Dr. Agtarap is helping with my knee. He is kind, he listens and helps according to my concerns with no pressure to do anything specific. Best of all my pain is allevied.
Doctor Agtrap is easy to talk to . He listens to your needs and takes action.
Dr. Agtarap did total knee replacement on one of my knees a few years ago. I had problems with my knee from the beginning, including instability and excessive swelling. He told me the instability was normal. At my urging, he tried a few things to ease the swelling, but they failed. He did not seem interested in going any further, did not offer to consult with other docs or research similar outcomes. Instead, he called me an outlier and said I would just have to live with it. Those were his exact words. I found another surgeon who diagnosed the problem with no difficulty, and I had revision surgery with him a few months ago. My knee is fine now. I still find it hard to believe that instead of helping me, Dr. Agtarap chose to label and dismiss me instead.

Dr. A has been treating my painful knees for years and finally in February I had a total knee replacement on my left knee. All along the way he and his staff have explained my problems, options and treatment well. I was always encouraged to ask questions and they were answered. My surgical experience was positive and 7 weeks post op I am doing well.
Dr Agtarap told me a story about star athletes getting fixed for game,I'm not that star,no surgery. Then he accused me of having injury prior, yet I had witnesses ,boss included ,of my unlimited athletic ability beforehand, and boss witnessed injury. My knee is still painful, yet he said he's not going to empower me to return to couch.Furthermore I'm forced to wear these huge shorts and he's looking up my shorts while he's painfully manipulating my knee!?!worst doctor I've ever seen in my life. Now my case will probably be closed for an ime was issued after my visit with agtarap, even though I have a complex miniscus tear.
I had a total knee replacement (first of two). Dr. Agtarap, Michelle McGinley and their team walked me through everything from the planning stages to post surgery recovery. Everything happened exactly the way that they had explained it to me. This was the first surgery I had ever had and it was the best I think I could’ve expected. I feel really good about going in for my other knee.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
