After decades of care at this office I am sad to report the doctor and staff are not supporting best health practices of Covid vaccination. I asked for an appointment after everyone was fully vaccinated and they rudely declined me as a patient and suggested I find another eye doctor.
Dr. Schores and his office have been wonderful. When I came to him I had already been diagnosed with a vitreous detachment and macular pucker (epiretinal membrane). His humor and gentle nature have been wonderful. We kept track of the progression as the scar tissue continued to fall away and continue healing. It is now healed. On to the next eye issue-cataracts. His examinations have always been thorough, his staff have always been friendly.
I truly believe, this doctor is a thorough kind and caring eye doctor. I had been seen at Walmart Eye Center and was told I was fine. Then, I saw this doctor & it was clear by the expression on his face that fine was not the situation I was in. It would have & could have been much worse had it not been for this caring team at Dr. Shores office. He saw that I was in need of treatment and I have undergone one surgery and chemo will follow. God bless this team
The support staff are very professional and courteous, unfortunately they are in fear of the doctor as well. I found my experience with him to be quite disturbing. He is unclear in his instructions and then becomes rude and abusive. He even went as far as to tell me I was a waist of his time. When confronted, he made no attempt at an apology and when I some to his story staff about it they seemed aware of his behavior and afraid to address the issue with him. He seemed more interested in arguing about how clear HE thinks I could see a apposed to how well I thought I could see. He even told me he didn't care that event was blurry. Very weird. I gave it 1 star because I had to in order to post the review.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
