Dr. Torres has been my heart doctor for the past 7 years. I couldn't have asked for a more thorough, knowledgeable, and professional doctor. If I knew what happened to him and where he is, I would travel there to see him!!!!

2 appointments with Dr Torres. First time he said he would call back to order tests. He did not call back. Made another appointment. Saw him again. BP was low and flagged by nurse. Dr Torres ordered a lab test. No followup one week later.

I visited Dr. Torres for a routine stress test. Prior to the stress test, I provided Dr. Torres and his staff with a complete medical history. On the day of the stress test, I reminded Dr. Torres and his staff about my condition and that they should anticipate a vaso vagal episode occuring. As expected, the stress test resulted in a vaso vagal episode. While I was going into shock, Dr. Torres panicked. He yelled at his staff and seemed to run around in a state of disbelief. In a panicked state, he half-heartedly tried to calm me down (not much you can do as a patient is going into shock). His panick-stricken state did nothing to relay the impression that he was a calm, cool or experienced doctor. Rather, he seemed to be inexperienced and incapable. Dr. Torres' actions were nothing shy of unbelievable. He did not follow-up after the incident. In fact, we never heard from him again. I cannot in good conscience recommend Dr. Torres to anyone who is concerned about receiving quality health care or a good bed-side manner.

You know what, he was forced to leave for private reasons that are none of your business. By the way is staff knew they just neglected to tell you. Frank Torres is in New Mexico and is in huge demand! Frank Torres is the best cardiologist you can get, can't get any better than him. So whoever your father is seeing now is a downgrade from a "Not good man." I've known Frank for twelve and a half years and he is not only loyal, forgiving, but a good person and man!

Dr. Torres was my cardiologist for about 12 years and the best doctor I've ever had the pleasure of being treated by. He is professional, great as an internist and cardiologist and treats you as a person rather than a number. He has an awesome sense of humor and doesn't order costly unnecessary tests unless he has to - if I lived in NM that's who I would be going to.
