I had my first visit with Dr. Heistand today and was very impressed with her ability to be both clear and direct in her perspective about what was needed and very kind sensitive and understanding of the challenges I was dealing with. She's very skillful, thorough and clearly has a great depth of experience. I really felt cared for and left feeling much more open and with many options I'd not considered before. I highly recommend her!

Dr Heistand has been my psychiatrist for a few months now. I have DID, PTSD and Depression so I’m considered a complicated patient. She has helped me so much. She is kind, caring and carful about what she prescribes. I’m so happy to have her as my psychiatrist!
