My visits with Dr. Schmidt don’t seem rushed, she really listens to my descriptions of symptoms and seems to actually care. When I’ve diagnosed myself with something, she rolls it back to zero, not to bias her thinking. Sometimes self diagnosis is correct, sometimes not. She’s a great diagnostician.

Good for children and ordinary adult problems. Not good on follow-up or diagnosis of adult or senior problems. Nice person... not a great doctor. Doesn't REALLY listen to what you are saying.

I came in after suffering from recent severe headaches. She went through a few physical exams and asked if my teeth hurt. I explained that my teeth are always a bit sensitive and recently had a filling repaired. Sarah grabbed a tongue depressor and proceeded to forcefully hit every tooth on my bottom row before I stopped her and asked what this procedure was for. She had no reasonable explanation and I was in pain! Filed a complaint with the state medical board. Will avoid and never recommend!

I have always been taken back to a room within 15 minutes of arrival & I usually see the doctor within 15 minutes as well. I have found Dr. Schmidt to be willing to make referrals when she feels like something is beyond her. Her judgement to be sound & she is compassionate & caring. I have been pleased with her care.
