Maybe if you are only there for the common cold or a very low risk pregnancy would he be willing to help you. If you need Blackburn for any kind of treatment long term then you should go else where. He is not for you! He seemed very rushed and like I was a complete bother to him. He stood up with his hand on the doorknob as I was still trying to ask questions....

While i was his patient i was hospitalized twice for very serious med. cond. such as a mini stroke and acute kidney failure. I told him repeatedly about my symptoms such as fainting, spasms, garbled speech, severe lethargy, confusion and forgetfulness. These are all sympoms of both conditions! He just brushed it off and was very rude to my husband when he tried telling the dr. about his concerns. My kidney failure almost killed me! Front staff are nice & professional some nurses not so much!

A year ago, I would have agreed 100% with the good reviews of this doctor. Now, not so much. I don't think it's completely his fault...the practice he works for has gone through major expansions. It's all about the money now. You can't get refills for your prescriptions without going in and paying a copay for a completely unnecessary "follow up". I don't feel listened to at all, because he's always in such a hurry. Nice guy, though. And his nurse is amazing. If only I could say the same for the billing department and the receptionists. If he ever started his own practice I'd go back.
