I was apprehensive about getting a full knee replacement but Dr. Steedman asked me what quality of life do I want to live. I realized that he was right. I have been in so much pain having arthritis in my knees , I couldn’t live with the pain anymore. I’m so happy that I got my left knee done and in March or April I will get the right knee replaced next.

My first visit was great! I went in unsure of what was going on with me and Dr. Steedman helped figured it out right away. I was listened to, examined and had x-ray all in the same day. It was a great experience, thanks to Dr. Steedman and his team.

Absolutely! I wouldn't want any other surgeon to operate on me. He is A#1 in experience and knowledge. A 5 star surgeon.

Dr. Steedman was great. He was very personable, listened to my concerns and gave options for treatment to relieve the discomfort. He answered all of my questions . I have had a previous surgery with him that went well and I'm confident in his ability.

He was very informative, and has a trusting quality about him. I didn’t interact with him much, his PA Ryan Bahr. I spent most of my care under Ryan’s advisement. I was in pain constantly with a torn meniscus and OA in the same knee. Ryan made me feel like an addict for asking for some stronger pain meds. I was in pain from August 1 until my surgery on November 4. Ryan’s medical assistant Megan, was horrible at returning calls, I had to show up with my leave paperwork and beg to have it filled out. Dr. Van Bergyek did my actual surgery, Dr Steedman contracted COVID. I was terrified that I would be sent home after surgery without pain meds, but Dr VB prescribed something that helped and also explained how to use naproxen and acetaminophen the correct way. I wish Ryan took the time and actually listened instead of leaving me with the feeling of being judged. Knowing what I know now, I would ask for Dr VB and his PA Bailey.
