List of Kaiser Permanente's Reviews
I couldn't be more disappointed in the care I've received at Kaiser Puyallup. Hands down the worst service. I had two moles removed then was sent a huge bill for it. I had no idea I would be receiving a bill at all. To top it off both moles are still there. So I'm paying a large bill for nothing. I could go on with other poor experiences at this location but the above is my most annoying one.
Every time I see the Kaiser Permante Thrive commercial I feel sick to my stomach. They say early detection for the treatment for CANCER... My husband went thru several scans, x-rays and over dozens of blood test and they never found what was wrong with him as he was in so much pain. Finally after a year they gave him a petscan and he had stage 4 lung cancer and 15 days later he passed. Please if you get care here be careful. We thought they cared but they did nothing but give him pain pills and tortured him with tons of testing.
Love the in network experience, proper pricing, for proper care. Listen... if you are like me and you realized that Harvard doctors, and the number one hospital in the nation is out your reach, then you have probably settled into mediocrity of the every day medical system. In which case you should opt for the cheapest route possible, and that route for me has been Kaiser, and I am loving it. Could not recommend this place more!!!!!👍👍👍
Cheryl McGrath is the worst nurse practitioner. She said there’s nothing Kaiser can do for covid patients and unless you’re dying, you need to just deal with it. She also incorrectly stated that monochlonal antibody infusions aren’t being used in WA state which is not true. She stated that the Omnicron virus is what everyone has now even though my symptoms aren’t the same as the CDC omnicron symptoms. Kaiser - you need to remove her from giving medical advice. I have no confidence in anything she said. She said if I develop pneumonia there’s nothing that can be done. It’s like Kaiser is willfully letting people die because they get more money from the federal government. I’m truly disgusted.
Just for optometry:Everyone was really friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. Was processed almost immediately upon check-in.The optometry shop staff were also very easy to work with.(Side note from someone who hates eye exams, they have newer and portable eye pressure tests. These are much easier to handle than the older machine where you stare into a black hole of anxiety that blasts your eye after a random amount of suspenseful waiting)
I am beyond upset about today's giant waste of time at this facility. I had a check up for my toddler daughter so after working the entire day, I rushed to KP for her appointment. Upon arriving, I was able to check in and the electronic appointment board told me that there was a 1-5 min wait time. So I waited. And waited and waited. I figured that maybe it was a busy day and they were backed up. But after almost 45 minutes passed and my toddler was screaming her head off, I finally went back downstairs to ask the front desk what was going on. The front desk woman then proceeded to tell me that my appointment was cancelled and that I was contacted earlier that afternoon via a secure message that I needed to reschedule my appointment. However, after working all day, I did not check my email in time to see this notice. You would think that if they're going to cancel an appt just hours before the scheduled time, they would call. I asked why they never called or left a voicemail. They said that they tried. A total lie. My phone was on the entire day, and I got calls and messages from other people (and a text message from KP regarding another unrelated appointment). Yet somehow I just didn't get a call or a VM regarding my kid's appointment that day? Nice try. I think I was most annoyed by the front desk persons matter of fact, rude attitude. It felt like she was blaming me that I waited so long for a cancelled appointment.KP, you need to get your system in check. If an appointment is canceled, you need to actually do what ever you can to get a hold of your patient. If you can't, the very least you can do is NOT let the patient check in and wait for their cancelled appointment. And then be rude about it at the front desk.It is impossible to get appointments at this facility to begin with due to lack of available time slots. This appointment that was cancelled today was scheduled two months in advance. I'm definitely considering switching networks after this experience.
Typical of managed heathcare...they say they are connected and share information yet the opposite us true...my pcp never seems to know what the specialists do and vica versa...took 6 days to call in insulin needles which left me reusing needles for almost a week...if you try to manage your refills earlier so they have "time" to call it in you are told it's too soon...so every month you have a couple days where your out of meds and out if luck....If Kaiser Permanente is the most glaring case for single payer insurance.Edit: once again without insulin because faxes that we were told were sent never were...this is typical of Kaiser Puyallup...what you get here is a very clinical setting...hurried appointments, and general lack of care...just a bunch of broken robots
Nunca uso Kaiser pero cuando intente llamar para hacer una cita estuve más de 2 horas esperando en el teléfono y ningún representante atendió la llamada un desastre.
Very professional friendly staff. 1010 would recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
