Marc Aversa's Online Review Report Card

I've been a patient of Dr. Aversas for almost 10 years now. He has supported me through my first pregnancy, delivered my daughter and has been her pediatrician and my primary doctor since 2012. He and his nursing staff, Heather particularly has been amazing and always takes great care of us!

I am very grateful to have found Dr. Aversa to work with in regards to my health. Even though I usually only see him once or twice a year it seems like he remembers me each time which is impressive given what I'm sure is a substantial patient list. He takes the time to listen fully and always explains thoughtfully when asked questions.

Dr. Aversa truly listens. I feel like he partners with me in my healthcare and is very warm and genuine in doctor's visits. I feel like he makes time for me in my visits and isn't rushing from patient to patient. I trust his input and feel comfortable in asking questions and getting his feedback on everything....yet, he doesn't make decisions for me. He walks me through things, step by step, weighing options and best choices.

Rude and uncaring! I admitted to the hospital on Christmas day because of a gastrointestinal illness. He came to see me the next morning. He said that he was discharging me. I sighed,thinking about all the work that would be waiting for me at home, because we had a family business. I did not protest nor did I say a word. He said to me that the hospital is not a hotel. I did not want to be sick on Christmas, I didn't ask to be admitted and did not object to going home. I thought this comment was rude, hurtful and uncalled for.

Office just get backed up expect a long wait.

Dr Aversa is a very compassionate, caring person. When my son turned gray in his office, he acted very quickly and got him admitted into the hospital. Even though my son was put on life support, Dr Aversa visited him in the hospital every day; which all of the nurses said was unheard of. I was there 24/7 for the 57 days my son was there and Dr Aversa was a great help in some of the issues that were faced. He went so far as to talk to the President of Good Sam in order to get my son approved for Physical Therapy there so he wouldn't have to go to a nursing home. Once my son was released, he went to his first Dr appt with Aversa and he couldn't get up off the low chair so a nurse came out to help me. Instead of her pulling him straight up, as I asked, she pulled him off the chair (by accident of course). Dr Aversa was out in the waiting room with 5 other people to help my son get off the floor. Mind you, my son is very heavy and it took a lot to try to help him. At one point, Dr Aversa saw people in the waiting room staring and took the time to turn around and address the onlookers by stating that my son is a 'very brave young man that lived through a great ordeal'. Everyone stopped staring and that is the best thing about Dr Aversa... his compassion. My family will never forget what he did for our son that day.The staff is awesome too.. His nurse, Heather, is a sweetheart and so helpful!

I have been seeing him since 2010 starting out as my OB and now as my PCP. He is always first to listen and the provide you with options, not just tell you what to do. I recommend Dr. Aversa to everyone I know who needs a doctor and I know he will be mine for many years to come!!

My unborn child died in his care. Staff confirms not the first or last death he's been responsible for. AVOID.

Dr. Aversa NEVER fully looked into my sons premature birth and his symptoms. Therefore, my son was on his death-bed.

Dr. Aversa was my doctor through out my entire pregnancy except for the last 3 or 4 weeks due to being gone. But he made sure to refer me to another doctor to see for in case I went into labor in the time span he was gone (which I did). He is now my daughters doctor as well and does very well at making sure we are both taken care of. I'm glad I chose to stick with him as a doctor when I first had to pick one out
