List of The Everett Clinic At Summit View Clinic's Reviews
Would give 0 stars if possible. Rude workers, dingy place, horrible service. Do not go here.
I moved to this area last year and had a very difficult time finding a primary care physician. My son, who lives nearby, recommended his clinic, Summit View, off Canyon Road. I read a couple of reviews and they were not "glowing", but I trusted his judgement and made an appointment. This clinic is amazing, reminds me of the old-fashioned care I got as a kid growing up in a small town. I saw Dr. Ahmed Mohamed, and his assistant Kristin. I was there on time and was very quickly checked in by a friendly and professional receptionist. After a very short wait, I met with Kristin, who was very efficient and professional. She took all my pertinent info as a first-time patient, and shortly thereafter Dr. Mohamed came in and we discussed several issues pertaining to my health and wellness. He was kind, attentive, compassionate and asked lots of questions, and then....get this....he LISTENED! I spent quite awhile there and never felt rushed. You cannot put a price tag on the value of this kind of care and compassion. Since that first visit, I have had phone calls answered promptly, referrals and follow-ups scheduled to meet my needs and simply cannot think of a better PCP/Clinic/Staff in this area. They have 3 new primary care physicians, are taking new patients and take Medicare. They are simply the best and we are blessed to have them serving our community!
ever since this clinic was taken over by the Everett group they have done nothing but run me around. They act like it is the patients fault that they ran off all the staff.
Absolutely the poorest medical care I have ever received. I was a patient at SVC for over 30 years. The doctors and nurses were amazing. Since Everett clinic took over it’s become the equivalent of Walmart self service check out. Doctors who can’t follow lab results or consult previous records. I am to the point where I will be looking for a new provider. Health care crisis or not this place is just awful.
I understand that change can be difficult and previous reviews about SVC were NOT very glowing. There was a time, I almost gave up but I 100% have seen the positive changes since The Everett took over.. today, let's think about what the staff and doctors have had to go through to keep this business open and meeting our medical needs. Instead of complaining all the time, maybe telling them thank you for their dedication and care, maybe bring a treat for the hours they put in to try and accommodate scheduling needs. Show up on time so you don't put the schedule behind, know your own insurance benefits and quit leaving that responsibility to someone else. As someone who knows they are not always the easiest patient to deal with....I want to thank this office for all they do, to keep me healthy and up right. Ive been a patient for many many years and I for one, am thankful for this office
zero should be an option. I have been a patient here for over 50 years. this place has totally gone down hill. refuse to refill my blood pressure meds until I see a new doc since mine retired!!!!! BP pills!!! cant get me in for a month and don't understand the urgency of the situation. absolutely zero customer service here!!!!!!!!!
The best thing this place did was become so completely non-functional that they refused to keep seeing my family member who had been going there for decades. After The Everett Clinic took over, petty squabbles about insurance contracts ensued, leaving thousands without their primary care provider. What did we learn after we were turned away due to these petty squabbles? My family member has stage four, inoperable, uncurable cancer. This has probably been developing for years. We were left adrift by this clinic at the worst possible moment. But don't misunderstand me, problems have been at Summit View a while. Their "what is the ONE reason you have come in today?" policy, in place for over a decade, is real garbage. I'm not sure if they're aware of this, but bodies work as a whole and its processes are interconnected. This is the definition of an organism. Ignoring all symptoms or ailments but one is a really good way to miss big problems, such as cancer. Any self-respecting medical professional should be ashamed to disregard basic biology in favor of packing in as many patients a day as possible and still calling it "primary care." When the problems get so bad that peoples' care grinds to a halt with almost no warning, it's beyond time to jump ship. They say "Supporting our patients with compassionate, quality care is our highest priority," but their actions do not match their words at all. We've lost years past of quality life due to Summit View's substandard care. We've likely lost more to come due to The Everett Clinic's negligence and less than competent administration. Everett Clinic, I am talking directly to you, now. If you respond to this with the same "we're sorry you're disappointed" message inviting us to talk with you about how you could serve us better, GO BACK and READ THIS AGAIN. Everything you need to know to start fixing this gross failure is right in front of you. You don't need further input right now, you need to act on it and do better. You need to do a whole lot better. If you're still confused, you need to close up shop and consider finding a new profession. Clearly operating a primary care facility is beyond your capabilities.
Ever since the Evergreen Clinic took over Summit View Clinic, it has become one of the worst clinics we have ever experienced. After my husbands doctor retired, who was one of the best doctors to ever be involved in his care, it has been a battle with this clinic. The last straw was being told they would not refill my husband’s thyroid medicine because he had not established care with a new provider in the clinic. He was never told he had to establish care, he has been a patient at the clinic for almost 17 years. So he gets an appointment scheduled that day so he can get his medicine. And an hour later he gets a call saying he doesn’t need the appointment to just go and get lab work done, which he does. He gets a message saying his lab work is good and to contact his pharmacy to contact them for a refill……..why can’t the doctor that ordered the labs just refill it you ask??? Oh because he wasn’t seen by a provider….it has been a week I have called on my husbands behalf three times and the pharmacy sent the request as well……still no medication refill. So as of tomorrow my husband will be without his medication and that seems to be acceptable to this clinic. Do not go here
We have been going to this clinic since we moved from Chicago 2014. I gave two stars because we like Dr. McKaleb! This was an excellent place. we started with Dr. Miller, and real gentleman and human being! I am not sure what happened. the past two years have been going down hill fast! I am not sure why we are grilled on the phone on what we are want to see the dr for and will do multiple appointments for even the simplest things. I am not allowed to have one appointment to discuss two simple things ! do they think we have time to go back and forth? Really absolutely ridiculous! So last week I needed to renew my prescription, it was utter nightmare dealing with the nurse, very rude and felt treated horribly! I even asked the pharmacist to call because I refuse to deal with her again. The nurse hanged up on me after waiting for 45 minutes on the phone! The receptionist asks me in public loud about what I am there to see the dr, even after my appointment and need a follow up appointment, I am grilled in public and loud! Crazy just unbelievable! This is only few issues love my dr but I am not ready to feel humiliated every time I need to call for advice or even in person! I hate going there. It is such a bad time to change providers especially that i like the dr. Follow up on my comments 1 year ago: thank you for reaching out, I just saw that you are asking us to call "customer experience" which you say it is important to you" but it seems nothing changed. I tried to avoid going to the Dr. for almost a year, and today I called to make an appointment, I have pain in my knees, she gave me one and half month away! wow, the Dr. family health seems very busy. I told her very nicely, do you think you can find me an earlier one with my Dr.? her answer: if you are in pain why don't you go to emergency clinic? wow, thank you! then she said we have shortage of care providers and nurses so we can't have you earlier, bla bla bla. ok, time to start looking out. I would love to tell that to Dr. Mckaleb, a real wonderful human being, not sur why he is staying in this horrible place! very very sad
I find it very unsettling and truly heartbreaking that the healthcare staff at this place turned my very very sick mother away on a scheduled appointment she made weeks beforehand. Their reason is, she was “late on arrival”. To much of our surprise, we discovered much later, someone moved her appt up from 1:20 pm to 1:00pm without even notifying her. And upon arrival she is told she is late and can not be seen. Wow. She arrived there 1:15. If she had been there by 1:00pm on time(with proper communication from you), you guys would still have her sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes at least. So what is the big deal if she was “late”? You have no idea what more headaches and stress you guys have created. Because of your carelessness, unprofessional, irresponsibility and unhelpful efforts, my mother had to endure a long and antagonizing nauseous pain to get to her medication she needed provided by another facility. It truly is unfortunate you guys can not run a health care facility with care, sensitivity and being a human. I will be reporting this to the insurance company as well.
