I was talked into and pressured to do a Carpal Tunnel Release surgery by Dr. Robon during a doctor visit for a bicep tendon repair procedure I was having. When I asked about trying physical therapy? Dr. Robon dismissed PT and said it would not work. I now have permanent scar tissue and pain in the wrist and there was no benefit in the procedure. Since then, I have had many physical therapists tell me that PT is a valid and successful treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome! Worst case scenario, why not at least try PT first before undergoing an evasive surgery?? I was pressured and convinced by Dr. Robon that his Release procedure was the best and most successful treatment option. Dr. Robon does have a good bedside manner but he should not pressure his patients into evasive surgical procedures that could be avoided with physical therapy. I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Robon's poor judgement and he should advocate for his patients better!

How devastating to think this surgery could have been conpletely avoided.. I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Robon's poor judgement and he should advocate for his patients better!
Dr. Robon is amazing, his PA Nathan is the best and the hand therapists are a blessing. I highly recommend Dr. Robon.
Over the years I've been treated by Dr. Matthew robon. He's repaired both wrists and thumbs and treated various other problems. I would recommend him to anyone.

Was very kind, went over my hand issues in great detail, and truly cares about the patient. Wonderful experience!
Dr Robon was prompt, caring, and gave me a thorough diagnosis. I would definitely recommend Dr Robon for patients with hand issues.
Well it’s been over a year due to L&I. During this time I got to know Dr Robon. On December 5th we finally got to operate on my left hand to elbow. I had a lot of issues to address. Dr Robon did a great job. He is very meticulous in his care. It’s almost 10 days now with little pain so far. I would recommend him and his staff as they are all very knowledgeable and personable with their care.Excellent care.
I have been seeing Dr Robon for a year due to my accident of my finger. He is very well spoken, prepared and extremely helpful!!! I would recommend him to family and friends. He is great!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
