I work in the medical field and did tons of research before scheduling consults with surgeons.I kept hearing the same name over and over again, Dr. Jason Thompson with Proliance. I had a list of three and I was going to see all of them and get different opinions because I wasn’t even sure surgery could help me. I met with Dr. Jason Thompson first and I’ve never done this before but I never went to get that second and third opinion. A friend of mine is a doctor and I took her with me to that initial consult.I felt that he was down to earth, confident but not overly, educated and had lots of experience with my type of problem. My friend was also impressed with him. He has a quiet confidence about him which gave me the courage to schedule my surgery at the end of that appointment.I’m postop two months now. I can honestly say that what he did to my back has changed my life. I also think I should mention that my back surgery was not just a simple procedure. There were rods and screws and all kinds of chaos going on in there.I don’t normally write reviews but if a doctor changes your life the way he did mine, he’s worthy of a 5 star review in my book. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I am a flight nurse, I fell and herniated a disc while I was 12 weeks pregnant. Dr Thompson was very understand of my goal to get back to work ASAP as well as protecting my baby. He worked with my OB and maternal fetal medicine to find good options for treatment. I ended up with a partial discectomy and a laminectomy. I was able to return to work just weeks later and the pain is gone. I am so grateful to him and the rest of the team. Highly recommend.

Dr Thompson is a fantastic, cutting edge surgeon! He took on the challenge of repairing my extremely compromised spine after I’d gone from 5’8” to 5’1”. He performed a complicated spinal fusion and disc replacement, restoring 5” of height and removing the constant severe pain I’d been experiencing. The freedom of a repaired body gave me an opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest, and I’ve absolutely done that! Life without pain is exhilarating! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Thompson for his incredibly gifted hands and his phenomenal orthopedic expertise!
