I have never felt so unvalued or like such an inconvenience before. Both of my brothers have been treated at this exact location for ingrown toenails, one of them even on multiple occasions, and their care was straightforward and routine. However, when I went in for the same issue, my doctor treated me as though my visit was a burden and made me feel embarrassed for seeking treatment. I have dealt with this pain for nearly 10 years, so finally deciding to come in was not a casual choice. Instead of receiving understanding or guidance, I felt dismissed and even shamed for a very common and painful condition. A medical setting should be a place where patients feel comfortable asking for help, not hesitant or judged. I am disappointed because I expected the same level of care my family received, and instead left feeling worse than when I arrived, not because of the condition (which is still something that causes me pain), but because of how I was treated.

Dr Chen is the best doctor I've ever had. I'm almost 70. She is friendly, knowledgeable, patient, empathetic and truly caring. Kaiser is blessed as am I to have her!

I hurt my shoulder they suggested to take time off work then scheduled me an appointment at the end of my time off and it wasn't even for the MRI..

If I could give zero star, I would. I scheduled an appointment with Kaiser Permanente Renton, with Amy Diyi Chen MD — she has been one of the least attentive, most unprofessional MD that I have ever seen in 35 years (living in Seattle). She literally FORGOT to place a lab test order for the most important thing that my appointment was for. I was FASTING that morning for nothing. After I messaged her office, she did not apologize. I had to be fasting again, waste time and gas to go to the lab for the second time. Then realized AFTER my 2nd blood work, Amy Diyi Chen MD ordered a blood test that I did NOT ask/need, and it was already done 2 months ago. TWO mistakes by the same MD in 2 months. I would absolutely not recommend this doctor.
